Better hold onto your hats girls, it looks like Marion has been replaced with Keira Knightley.  Oh lordy she’s starred with James McAvoy and now Rob.  Keira I’m so freakin envious it’s not funny.   Thanks to our affies LeRPattzClub for this info and the screencap.

I am so happy for Rob. Good choice of Mr. Cronenberg. Keira has been already nominated for the Oscars, Bafta and Golden Globes she worked with the adorable and talented James McAvoy in Atonement and recently worked with Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan in Never Let me Go and the great Viggo Mortensen and Cronenberg in A Dangerous Method, which is in post-production now.

Yes @Maria keep bringing whatever news you get on “Cosmopolis”. Yeap that Keira sure is lucky, I loved James McAvoy in Penelope. I thought he was adorable, and now she gets to start with Rob. Wow.

I was wondering if they would replace her after last weeks pregnancy announcement. I adore Marion, but Rob and Keira…can’t wait to see them together!

I’m glad you did Maria. I know it’s kinda fairy tailish. But James McAvoy stold my heart in this one. Well a little piece. But no one can replace Rob.

My inner fangirl wants to squee in happiness about so much beauty going on in cosmopolis, and the hype will be phenomenal.
However, quality wise I was very happy with Marion, because she is the better actress. Rob mirrors his counterparts.
He could have learned more from Marion.
But still happy though. Replacement is never easy, it could have been worse.

Hmmmm. Not sure how i feel about Keira Knightley. Yeah. I’m not a hater. I don’t hate anyone, she just hasnt produced performances that have blown me away. Hopefully Cosmopolis is the one that does.

@Martha M – I have to thank James McAvoy for being the reason I found The Haunted Airman on the net many years ago. I was looking for Shameless which he filmed in 2005 and came across Rob as Toby Jugg instead – sealed it for me – even though I had noticed him as Ceddie – it was Toby that switched my interest from James to Rob and I’ve never looked back.

@Maria well, for me it was Dali, I was Jude Law’s #1 fan (yes I know real life man whore, but I loved him), but just like you it was Dali that switched my interest from Jude to Rob and I’ve never looked back either. I even went to New York and saw him in Hamlet. I’ll never regret it, he was amazing in the play. Bur there’s no one like our Robert.
