Hi everyone, got back from our holiday today and couldn’t wait to check in here. So glad to see everything at a decent size and fast for the first time in 3 weeks.
I’m also happy to report (re: GQ Mag in cafe) that today…..I GOT IT!!!
GQ (Australia) Rob now resides at my house. He was a bit grubby so I gave him a light sponge bath, but otherwise in good condition.
Yes Maria, I took your advice about using a large hand bag to put him in and it worked a treat. I think it was Carmel (I could be wrong apologies to whoever it was) that said that I must get the holy grail. Let me tell you that I went to bed every night for the last 2 weeks silently chanting ‘holy grail, holy grail, must get the holy grail! I am now officially a thief, albeit a happy one. Thank you everyone for your encouragement to take the mag. I couldn’t have done it without you all 😉 *blows kisses and giggles*

OMG @Carlisa that is too funny. Am glad you took my advice though and no you are not a thief – you are a foster parent – you gave Rob a good home – see even a sponge bath (yes I always look for the positive – I really should have been a spin doctor) 😀

And like any good parent you gave him a sponge bath as well.
You can sleep with a clear conscience!!!
I love these pictures of Rob and Reese deep in discussion. Rob looks gorgeous with that serious look of concetnration on his face and playing with his fingers absent-mindedly. Thanks for the prompt update – you really spoil us here you do!!!

@Cindy. It all became a bit of a challenge in the end. I kept asking hubby to go and get it. He went a couple of times to the cafe but came back empty handed. I actually thought he’d get it for my b’day (which was on the 11th), but alas no. Hubby even coaxed my dad into trying to steal it, he thought we were idiots. In the end, I did it myself, using the hubby, the 3 kids and 2 cousins as a diversion.

This week has been total nirvana. @Carlisa so proud of, if you wouldn’t have done you would have lived with regret for the rest of your life (lol), always thinking “What if” so I’m glad you’ll have no regrets and happy belated birthday to you. Hope it was fabulous.
