Golden Years: “About The Badges, I’ve Asked Them Not To Wear Them”

I am very very excited to say that this week we will be celebrating Rob as the gorgeous Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire. As I have mentioned before, this was the role that introduced (& forever hooked) me to Rob back in 2005, so Ceddie has always been extra special to me for that reason. Not to mention the fact that I absolutely adore him. I had always really enjoyed the Harry Potter films & OF COURSE once I saw GOF (the best film IMO), I loved them even more. Tough to pick a fave scene as always, but in the end I had to go with this one. This is the first scene where we really see Cedric in action & the beginning of he & Harry’s Twi Wizard Tournament teamwork & friendship. Plus he’s just so damn cute in it & of course wonderful. Love his gorgeous little smiles. Hope you all enjoy this scene as much as I always do. I am so looking forward to spending the week with you Ceddie!

My husband made (yes made) me watch GOF as he was the HP fan not me and i remember commenting on the gorgeous “boy” playing Cedric and thought nothing more of it. Little did I know that just a few short years later I would become obsessed with the “man” and devour every movie he is/was/will star in. Sooo looking forward to spending the week with Ceddie!!! Thanks Michelle.

How funny that you post this today and that you are making it a Cedric week. I don’t know if you guys remember when I first posted my first comment I said I was a late bloomer. I only discovered Twilight this year (and I became totally obsessed my family & friends really thought I was crazy & all wanted me to get help)so I bought all his movies that were out to that point, and have bought whatever movies have come out since. I’ve had GOF for a while now, but only watched it for the first time today (I swear) just finished watching it & here I log on and your making it a Cedric week. How special that is to me, so thank you Michelle for making it special for me without you knowing it, this was a great coincidence. And I must tell you all I cried my brains out, I cried like a little girl. It was so sad, he was amazing. Now I must see all the Harry Potters movies, but I’m certain this one will be my fave.

How great is that Martha M 😀 I suggest you do watch all the HP films. They are great but GOF is of course the best!

I always cry every time without fail during Cedric’s death scene & also Dumbledore’s speech afterwards. It’s just so so sad. I loathe Voldermort – absolutely loathe him & Ralph Fiennes I’ve never been able to look at you the same way after what you did to Ceddie & stepped on his face – grrrrrrrr!!!

Oh @Martha M if only Summit had put as much money into the Twilight movies that Warner Bros does into the HP Films – and let’s face it – Summit have made ENOUGH from Twilight to have been able to do so. The effects are lame, the support actors are lame – I don’t know why the fans put up with it. And let’s not forget the scriptwriter should have been sacked after Twilight. I don’t know what she has over them, but it must be something powerful.

Michelle – thanks for starting of Ceddie week – Cedric Diggory – your too damn hot!

Totally agree Maria Should have got the guys that did the HP screen plays to write the rest of the Twilight ones as well. And Michelle great Video just love Rob as Cedric This is when I fell hook, line and sinker for this fabulously talented and gorgous young actor.

That is pretty amazing Martha M – today of all days. 😀

Great choice in Ceddie footage Michelle and thanks for kicking this week off with his smiles and giggles. I love all the HP movies, especially this one. They deliver such quality and I’m proud that Rob was a part of such a classy franchise.

I have to agree Maria, if only Summit put as much money and care into the Twi-series, then EVERYONE that watched the movies would be swept away in the cinema experience and not just be there to support Rob. Having to look at the ceiling whenever Rob is off screen is not what I call quality.

    ditto with the foot Michelle.

oh Michelle, *jumps up and down*

A whole week with Cedric! *sigh*

I couldn´t take my eyes off of him, when I saw him in HP!

I´ve read all the books and he´s just perfect for the role!

There are some great moments during the HP Press Junket, too…

Maybe you guys could do a little vid of them?

Cedric is such an adorable character and Rob was so gorgeous in this role but everytime I see Ceddie he makes me feel just that little bit wrong. It’s not right that someone so young can be so hot! LOL

Martha M. Make sure you watch the Extras. Rob heaven.

Lise-lou – I’m with you hon. I love Cedric but it does make my conscience pang seeing the object of my fantasies as such a beautiful young boy.
