A mix of delights for you today, starting with Rob as Rawdy in Vanity Fair.  I don’t have to repeat how the blind man was put in charge of editing, we all know this – yet when I catch that glimpse of Rob in this sadly misplaced footage, why is it his is the only performance I’m zoning in on.  Bias? I don’t think so.  Even back then you could feel a strong presence.  *thumbs up* Umm btw, apologies for the teeny first 3 caps, this is what happens when you only have lost material to work with.  Moving along … aaahhh Richard.  How dare you steam up my screen when you appear for those 3 minutes of bliss.  If what’s her name isn’t interested, feel free to walk this way.  I mean it!

So what about something more recent?  Who could forget Rob as himself while playing opposite Tom as Les Grosman.  God we laughed so hard that day didn’t we … and if that wasn’t enough, they later broke out Badass Cops.  Did somebody ask for a light?  Well didn’t I just need one! Goodtimes all round and Rob proved once again that he is a master at comedy.  It felt like we’d won the freakin lottery!

And now, we have so much to look forward to.  We’ve all read the books (most of us), we’ve all seen the snaps, we’ve all been patient and tried to stay alive in the process of the wait, hell some of us have undergone Boot-Ami camp to ensure survival.  There’s nothing left now but to unleash them to us on the BIG screen ….Georges will most probably break my heart and Jacob will mend it.

Bring me my time machine!

Truly inspired Vertigo!!! thanks! The first 2 pics look aetherial, almost dreamlike….just like Rob right? Same with you girls, I can’t wait for Bel Ami and especially WFE because I’m sure it will dazzle us not only because of Rob but also with direction cinematography etc.

That montage is amazing Vertigo! Bad Ass Cops…yes please! Can’t wait for Bel Ami. I do think though that it will be a ‘true fan’ movie. I don’t think it will be very mainstream. But with WFE, everyone will see him for the real talent that he is! Even though we’ve all known that for quite some time now. Can’t wait for next year….Rob indulgence, BA, WFE & BD1 Bring on 2011!

    Epic montage Vertigo.
I know I’m repeating myself, but Richard is damn hot. I haven’t read the book that Summerhouse is based on, but if there is more of Richard I want that role revisited and expanded.
And for the roles that we are yet to see in their full Rob glory, the anticipation is killing me. Softly.
