Following on from Vertigo’s amazing post (Vertigo my brain has started functioning, but only just), I see that Protagonist Films will be promoting Bel Ami at Cannes. Oooh I’m not starting gossip and I know we only post confirmed news – well the promo is posted on their site, but I wonder if we will get to see Rob at Cannes this year. I know filming for Water for Elephants is suppose to commence 22 May 2010 – Cannes runs from 12 to 23 May – I just wonder if he will get the chance to help promote. Time will tell, but I’m being slightly selfish because the Cote d’Azur and Rob are a lethal combination.
