Maria Is Bothered
Well I am because the only good thing that came out of  The View today are these pics of Rob in this fantastic suit (lordy and we thought he rocked a tux). In all honesty, that was the worst interview I’ve  ever seen Rob have to endure. Seriously I’m in a cranky mood today because I’m tired, but did Babs even bother to research – I thought she’s supposed to be one of the “best”. Hell I better head over there and apply for her job. Yes Babs Rob sat around after GoF waiting for Hollywood to discover him and pluck him from obscurity.  Ugh. Sorry I guess I still haven’t gotten all the angst from yesterday’s annoying comments from people who have no idea about him saying how surprised we are going to be by his performance. Ugh again. No I’m not going to be surprised and neither are most of our regulars on the site – we KNOW what he’s capable of because we have been following his career pre-Twilight – yes it did exist believe it or not – and we’re not ignorant. Let me tell you something Babs - we’ve seen him take on roles in movies that actually allow him to soar unlike Twilight since he does the best he can with the dribble Rosenberg provides him with. Oh and did you watch them Babs – really – because the third time you said fangs I had to switch you off.  Yep sorry for those who endured me on Twitter yesterday but it’s still not out of my system especially when I see rubbish like The View. Bring on Jimmy Fallon and Robert is Bothered – now that was entertainment. Thanks to socialitelife for the pics and there’s a few more over on the site if you want to click here to check them out.

I couldn’t agree more Maria. Babs was sooo annoying with the fangs thing and the total lack of research when it comes to Rob’s career history.
Meh Americans have no idea when it comes to English humour either and that’s not just directed at interviewers.
Jimmy Fallon was hoot btw.

Yes have to agree the other women on the view asked better questions than babs did perhaps she should retire. And yes i get decidely irked when so many people can only crap on about twilight like its all Robs ever done HELLO!! wake up and smel lthe coffee people!!

I completely agree with you. It was the worst interview I´ve ever seen about Rob. It´s sure they didn´t investigate his career at all. Haven´t they seen him on How to be or Litlle Ashes? I´m sure not.
And I don´t talk about The Bad Mother´s handbook or The haunted airman.
Always and only the vampire…….I´m tired too.
And BOTHERED…….
He is much more than Edward and he is demonstrating it.
Even here in Spain we know hes much much more.

Thanks @Lea – it annoyed me because it’s their job to inform people and how can you do that when they are so ignorant and then The View – ugh – they need to change the title of the show to A Skewed View – hahaha.

I just watched the interview, and I was really frustrated with all the blabber!!! I was thinking the whole time “you ignorant people-you call yourself journalist” ughhh
As you can see I don’t like The View anyway and I never watch it. They should hide in their hidy holes and never come out. There goes my rant for today 🙁
On the other side Rob did such a great job, as always. He looked great and interviewed great. GO ROB, love you forever!!!

Hi Girls, Michelle & Maria, I haven’t been able to catch up with ANY of the clips yet, but after reading this i’m not sure if I want to (of course I do but i’m being dramatic) I know i’m going to want to punch the TV becuase I DESPISE the View I HATE that show, (I cannot explain how much) and when they make dumb, Stupid comments and ask the most rediculous questions – I want to gag from the embarrasment I feel for the guest. Thanks for the heads up though, Just take some solice in the fact that VERY SOON people will realise what you’s have been trying to tell them – Robert is SOOO much more than Edward and you know me, I love Twilight but I have been educated… Gosh people are dumb (I can’t stop shaking my head at the stupidity) Have a great day all. I watched the view and was sickened when Babs kept referring to Rob’s fangs…what the heck?!!! It made me think she was in another world and had somehow confused him with Interview With A Vampire! She should have done her homework!

Maria, I can understand your frustration about the comments made by BW (fangs and all) but at the end of interview woulnd’t you agree that Rob won the battle of wits hand down, including the Betty White comment?.
Rob’s repartee with the panel will go very well with American audiences and was delighted by BW’s comment about his portrayal as “wonderful” and that he was like “James Dean”?. You will note that Rob was delighted too with those words coming from BW, it means a lot to him. Pretty sure at the end of the program, they are all in awe of our Rob.
Also, it seems that Rob is fascinated w/ leading ladies with “balls” or gutsy as mentioned by him and was amazed that EDR can down 24 (tins/bot? of beer).
The View showcased that Rob can win over audiences/panel with Wit, Humour, Candour and his Gorgeousnes ..!!!!!!!!

@Addy did you read my post? I really did stop watching it so I didn’t get to the end – not even Rob could make me endure them. Seriously that whole interview was cringeworthy. Out of everything Rob has said over the last 5 years – the one thing they brought up was the Details magazine – sure it’s recent, but he’s said more interesting things than his supposed allergy. But I suppose looking at Barbara’s supposed research, it appears she only bothered to look over the last 6 months. I mean really. I already know he’s witty, I already know he can hold his own – remember I’m a fan from way back not someone who jumped on the Rob/Twilight bandwagon – and don’t get me wrong – I’m not having a go at those who came to love him through that role because seriously I love that he’s finally being recgonised for the talent that he is, but my point is more about the bad cheesy journalism. And to be honest – not sure if Rob was delighted by the James Dean reference – I think he was just being polite as always. I think he would have been more delighted if she’d compared him to Jack Nicholson, but that’s just me.

I am Canadian and was totally digusted by this interview…fangs indeed!!!! Worst interview ever!!! but Rob was totally gracious as ever. Gorgeous pictures the man looks great in anything he wears. Good job girls, keep up the good work.
