oh thank God Maria I just looked at the other post with 73 pics and was completely overwhelmed! How you narrowed this down to 5 to do your magic on I will never know but love them! Especially #2 and #3 just so lovely 🙂

Thanks for the lovely photos during NM press junket. Is his facial skin the so called “English Peaches & Cream” tone? So luminous from these pictures.!!!!
Maria, on a different note, what are our chances if we petition Summit for Rob to come to Australia when they do promotional tour for Eclipse on the way to Japan? Do you have any idea how much NM gross taking in OZ. I want to think that we are an important market for the saga’s books and films.

Also, wouldn’t it be amazing if the backdrop for BD be in the low lying islands of the Great Barrier Reef?
Perhaps the Queensland government can offer some logistical support coz of the tyranny of distance from North Anerica. We have Movie World in Queensland after all.
This would be a promotional coup for Australia for Isle Esme’s location.
Am I dreaming too much? We can all dream can’t we?

if rob goes rhere i’ll possibly come.lol.u australian people u r so lucky cause ur country is big enough to be considered important.i mean that other small countries like mine (greece) will never be into summit’s destinations.and here in gr there are so many twi-fans.anyway,i hope rob visits OZ cause i want u to have the chance to see him.
i was joking saying i’ll visit OZ.It’s far far away and i’m not old enough to come.when i grow older i’ll try it.

@Addy – firstly NM grossed I think from memory somewhere btw $12 and $16 million on opening weekend in Australia. In relation to a petition – I’m sorry but do you follow us on Twitter – I had a rant about polls and petitions the other day. I personally loathe petitions and we would never put RPAU’s name behind one. We are constantly asked to sign or promote them and we just don’t. In all seriousness, they are useless. I have never seen one be successful ever and if you really think about it – we should be happy that they aren’t otherwise the 75,000 people who created and signed the petition for Rob to NOT play Edward Cullen would have gotten their way.
Last we heard from Rob’s London agents is that Rob was definitely not coming to Australia in 2010 – his current schedule just doesn’t allow it and I think Summit, unfortunately, just won’t put Australia into the equation. I mean you think about it, the NM press junket was squeezed into a period of about 10 days – look at what Rob went through during that time and it’s not Summit that would be involved but Hoyts Distribution who would be bringing him out since they are the distributors. Last time I checked with them – they weren’t bringing him out either – although that could change. Oh I sound like I’m ranting.
And as for Breaking Dawn being filmed in Australia – yes there’s nothing wrong with dreaming – it would be a definite coup. But again, and don’t take this the wrong way, my dream is for that film to never see the light of day – I would much rather see him play Phineas in Unbound Captives before I see that movie with Rosenberg’s horrendous scripts. I’m cringing at the thought. I know I know everyone is entitled to their opinion – I’m just not a fan of that book and when Rob signed on for Twilight – it hadn’t even been finished – so I’d love to know what he really thinks of it.

@Maria, totally agree with you about preferring Rob to play Phineas in Unbound Captives and, declaring my personal bias here, because it would mean he would be coming to New Zealand!!YaY!!
would be totally great if he filmed in OZ too as you guys are just over the ditch and i would feel like HE is close to me….**sigh**
not sure about Breaking Dawn and not sure the Summit guys are sure either. they are taking too long making the final decisions and making it hard for the young actors to make decisions about other projects…selfish of them, i say….
i would be quite happy for the saga to finish with Eclipse too if it means Rob is free to expand his creative range and get into his music as well as making these fabulous movie choices e.g. Remember Me, Water for Elephants. He missed out on Parts per Billion because New Moon was brought forward!

I believe you are in a better position to make inquiries or gather any information than any of us, hence I’m adressing them to you. You have more clout girl !!!
Thanks for all the information. As far as BD, I have to problelm if Rob will gonna do it and I wish he could do UC. Whatever projects he’s got, I’ll gonna support it.
@TezzaANZ, if UC will be shot in NZ, perhaps it’s time we could all meet there as a contingent….!!!!!
