Here’s On The Red Carpet.com’s “exclusive” interview with Rob.  I love how Rob tells us that New Moon will exceed everyone’s expectations.  From what I’ve seen so far from Chris Weitz (which is more than I wanted haha) I tend to agree.

    So true Maria, if the clips are anything to go by, we are in for an absolute treat.
    And I love that Chris keeps Edward’s presence threaded throughout the movie, not just because I need me some more Rob, but also the fact that that’s what I felt when reading it. Chris is a wise man from the looks of things.
    I pray I’m not eating my words in 4 days time, but Chris Weitz for President!

    I agree Maria. Too much information so far, but it’s not getting in the way of my anticipation so close to the big day.
    I’m glad for a Bobby Long reference. There was talk of him coming to Oz to do the summer festival season, but I think his success in the US has put those plans on hold.
    Rob, you have such good friends because of the person you are. More confirmation if we needed it.

    @Carmel you are going to think I’m picking on you, but I’m not sure why everyone is so enamoured with Bobby Long. He’s not really a lifelong friend of Rob’s like people try to make out. He’s only a new acquaintance that was introduced by Bobby’s manager who happens to know Marcus Foster. Sorry I’m not a Bobby fan – can you tell.

    @Vertigo – Chris Weitz for BD if they ever really go ahead and make that. Oh I know Rob wants Guy Van Sant but hello – Chris will do a very good job of humanising that um well I won’t say what I think of BD – you all already know.

    Its Ok Maria. No offence taken. Everyone has different tastes. I really like Bobby’s music. Even though following Rob made me aware of Bobby, it’s not why I keep up the interest. Bobby can stand on his own; as I’m very sure he would want to. I only mentioned Bobby as he was referenced in the interview.

    That too Maria – Chris Weitz for BD!! It would eleviate the majority of my fears for sure.
