From Art to Salvador

We certainly are being well & truly spoilt with all these photos that are surfacing. First Art & now some photos of Rob as Salvador Dali on the set of Little Ashes. I think you all know how much Maria & myself love this beautiful movie. Most definitely Rob’s best performance to date, so so brilliant as Dali.  Thanks to pattinsonlife for the tip & Pattinson Italia for the photos.

    Ah, the genious of this beautiful film!

    I went online recently to see Dali’s paintings and one that sticks with me is ‘Autumn Cannibalism’. I’ve always liked that one and now the ‘Little Ashes’ picture is a firm favourite. I’m going to hunt down the book that enabled ‘Little Ashes’ to be made. Happy reading on my part!

    Sare, you are missing out on so so much by not seeing Little Ashes & How To Be, you really are. I agree with Lise-Lou & in the words of Art ‘DO IT’ lol.

    Hey! I really REALLY want to buy this on DVD cause it looks absolutely Amazing! If a DVD is: PAL, region 2, is that good. I don’t get it. And i knew just the people to ask!! I have got HTB that is region 2 and it works, but i dont know what PAL means. Thanks guys.

    Louise, Little Ashes is just amazing, such a beautiful movie & Rob is just brilliant as Dali. Definitely a must see.

    PAL is just the format of the DVD, it is rather confusing I know. If your HTB DVD works on your player then you won’t have any problem playing LA. They are both PAL format & region 2 & we have had no troubles playing either of them. Hope this has helped you out.

    I had to watch it again last night and am still gobsmacked at how truely beautiful it is.
    I wonder if the tears will ever cease…
