Forbes: The Year’s 10 Fastest-Rising Stars
Rob has made it onto another list & this time it is Forbes: The Year’s 10 Fastest-Rising Stars. Rob has came in at #7, tied with Anna Paquin of True Blood. Not quite sure how there can be a tie in this list but I thought a #7 ranking was pretty darn impressive. Maria thinks they tied because Rob plays the piano & Anna was in The Piano. I think she may be onto something there lol!  By the way, how gorgeous is that picture posted above. One of my favourites from Cannes for sure.

Pattinson, tied for seventh place with fellow vampire Anna Paquin of True Blood, has created a teenage heartthrob empire since the release of Twilight in November 2008. The film, whose opening box office earnings were $70 million, played in theaters for over four months. Pattinson has been featured on several magazine covers, including the April 2009 cover of GQ magazine, and is slated to have lead roles in three upcoming films, including the sequel to Twilight in theaters this November.

Well done Rob. That pic is cute – I have to say i’m such a fan of Robs slightly crooked little front tooth – just thought i’d put that out there – it’s freaking cold this morning and I can’t be held responcible for what I say. Although not as cold as Sydney I bet – it’s only 6 degrees up here..I use to live in Sydney, I know all about how cold it gets there. Thanks for the great start to the day, gorgeous photo of Rob to go with the morning coffee. Very good news about the Forbes list – it’s interesting the variety of people/organisations that are taking notice of Rob and other younger actors. Does anyone else feel like there is a bit of a ‘changing of the guard’ happening in Hollywood?

Side note:- No disrespect to Anna because she‘s probably worked hard for it, but I wouldn’t say fastest rising star if she’s been doing the rounds since the piano. Just saying cause I agree that to tie with Rob is a little off the mark. *baffled* JMO.

They got it all wrong about her anyways… Yes shes in a vampire series out of the US but she isnt a vampire. She wants to be but ala twilight he wont do it to her…

Just watched Rob in The Haunted Airman (I know it is unrelated to Forbes photo) he is brilliant. Totally bizarre movie but his acting is just amazing!!! If you can get a hold of a copy you must watch it!!!!

Hi Tanaya – completely understandable. His performance as Toby is what sealed it for me (and as much as I love seeing him as Eddie – I so prefer him in non-Twilight movies). You really need to see him as Daniel and Art too – if you haven’t already.
