Amanda Bell “Before They Were Twilight Stars”

Amanda Bell from examiner.com wrote an article about upcoming films for the stars of Twilight and also posted videos of some of their earlier work.  She mentions Rob’s future films – Bel Ami, Remember Me and Unbound Captives as well as “others in the works” (I hope this isn’t a tease, but she could be referring to his recent meeting with Peter Berg).   Lucky for us, she has included a video of Rob’s role as Rawdy Crawley in Vanity Fair (you know the one, where some idiot decided to cut him from the movie and I bet they are so so regretting that now).  By the way, Michelle tells me that this video is far better quality than the deleted scene on her DVD.   Here is what Amanda has to say about the clip:

“Pattinson, too, has any number of pre-Twilight films (including some which have recently been released such as How To Be and Little Ashes) to showcase. One such is Vanity Fair, in which Pattinson appeared as the estranged son of Reese Witherspoon’s character in the film, but his part was cut and uncredited. For this reason, we bring you clips of Pattinson’s part in Vanity Fair (a film which, by the way, Pattinson’s friend and fellow “Brit Pack” member Tom Sturridge appeared in as well).”

They just try everything to keep Rob and TomStu apart – hmmm I think they should consider casting him as Aiden in Remember Me – just a  hint there for you Summit.  If you would like to read the full article (especially if you want to see Taylor as Shark Boy) click here.

I had seen Vanity Fair a long time ago and bought it recently. Liked it again.

I must say I like the alternate ending better, not just because of Rob, but because I think Becky’s character looks more positive. I’ll have to read the book to see how it actually ended, though.
