Here’s a little clip from Access Hollywood where Brooke talks about saving Rob from drunk fans who were starting to harass him.  Brooke – you go girl – it’s bad enough that Rob is stalked and hounded wherever he goes by “screaming fangirls” and occasionally their mothers, but seriously can’t the guy just go and enjoy a beer after a hard day’s work – he’ so gracious and doesn’t deserve this!  Sorry, but they are starting to wear a little thin (and I haven’t had my morning coffee yet).  Thanks to our affiliate Spunk Ransom for the clip.

    Maria, this is very well put. I feel exactly the same way you do. I think I’ve found a new-found respect and admiration for Brooke Shields.

    Great job to Brooke, I really admire her for doing that. It was really nice of her to look out for Rob like that.

    And to think that, despite those people being drunk, he was still spending time with them, gracious as always… what a sweet, sweet man. Too good for his own good, and yet, I hope he doesn’t change one bit.

    The no coffee thing suits you Maria, well said.

    Brooke is quite hilarious, grounded and very smart in real life, I’m glad it was her and not someone from the crazy category.

    Oh dear, I hadn’t even thought of that! *images of Paris Hilton “saving” Rob flicker in her mind, panic ensues*

    Thank goodness someone up there is laying a hand over Rob’s head, as we say in Italy!
