The Guardian Apparently Talks to Rob

This has to be one of the strangest interviews I’ve read in awhile.  Amy Raphael of  The Guardian apparently interviewed Rob, but I think there’s a little too much creative licence in this article and she’s trying her hardest to make him sound negative (that’s the best way I can put it).  And before I get complaints that I’m not being objective about Rob, she clearly hasn’t done any research given the comment “this is pre-six pack”.  I’ve seen a few reviews of late that refer to Rob’s “six pack” – um which DVD of Twilight are they watching?  I need to get me a copy of that one.  Click here to read the full article and here for evidence of no six pack.

Thanks for posting and Thankyou Maria for the necessary calming evidence of the no six pack. Now that’s reporting at it’s finest, not like the nonsence this Amy Raphael is putting out there. To be honest, I’m not really sure what her intentions were in that article, she seemed a little resentful or something and I wish People would stop boxing his fans in the one category… “Teens”.
    LMAO with Rob’s Paris alias.

Thanks for posting all these interviews and articles Girls! They have all been enjoyable reads. 🙂
I agree with you Maria! This article definitely has a negative undertone right the way through. I didn’t quite know what to think when I read it.
The QA interviews are generally the best. Straight up Rob, just the way I like him!
I think the same Vertigo, the stereotyping of his fans is somewhat annoying. 🙁
Robs fans stretch far beyond the *Teens*. With the huge success of Twilight. The media can’t seem to help, but box Rob fans in to the young adult category.

Maria, I completely agree with you. I don’t really know where this person was going with her attempts at putting things in Rob’s mouth or mind, if you know what I mean. I certainly did not like her tone.

I enjoyed what Rob said, i.e. his actual words, (Clive Handjob!!! Hahaha! He is such a boy!!!) and even more that he “heated up” a little… he must really be fed up about people twisting his every word for their purposes… and I can completely understand that. I think I can safely say he will not be impressed with this interview either.

Also, my impression has always been that Rob had taken Little Ashes seriously from the start, given the amount of work he put into it, not just now that “he’s been told to make amends”. Amends for what, since there was nothing wrong in what he said, except people’s misconstruction of it?

And if Rob “spouts a lot of media training rubbish” it’s probably because he didn’t deem the interviewer worthy of his usually thorough, insightful answers, that she could then twist and bend to her leisure (as she actually has done in this interview).

    “So I’m learning to sprint”

    Hahahaha!!!! But poor man, really!

Maria I like the picture you have posted here too! 🙂
When I see this, I can’t help but think about Robs pants being too tight.
They look ok to me! Mmmm I might have to go have another look. 🙂
