Here’s quite a long clip from ‘Little Ashes’, thanks to Rachel from Access Hollywood. They’re really good scenes and there’s plenty of Rob (as well as Javier) on those scenes.

    Thanks for posting this Cilla.
I am really looking forward to seeing Little Ashes.
I am not sure when & where in Adelaide it will be showing, I’ll have to keep my eyes open.

Thanks for posting Cilla. I hadn’t seen the full version of that opening scene – and you know how much I to see this film! I think I’m going to watch again – lol.

Thanks for this clip, Cilla! I really want to see this movie, now. Is it actually going to be released in Australia?

I’m posting here what I posted elsewhere:

I liked the awkwardness when Dalì and Lorca meet for dinner. I liked that single glimpse of sanity, stepping out of the “nutcase” character, when he says “Federico!”… that break in the tension made me feel relieved (as Lorca seemed to be, too)… great timing, perfect delivery.

That last bit where Federico Garcia Lorca is talking about the oppression of freedom of speech by the fascist regime and how all who are different will be wiped out and the way Dalì answers “Would that be a bad thing?”… it actually made me gasp in horror “No!” for the enormity of what he said and the way Rob delivered it, with such nonchalance and complete denial on Dalì’s part… it really chilled my blood, in all honesty.

Very well done, Rob. I *am* impressed. I hope he brings this kind of intensity and insight to his future (Twilight and non-Twilight) roles.
