Respecting Rob because actions speak louder than words.
In the lead up to the EPICNESS that will be Rob in Berlin for the Bel Ami world premiere (squeeee at the thought), thought we would look back at Rob in Berlin last April for the Water For Elephants premiere. WFE promo *grins at the memories*
To all Aussies celebrating today, hope you’re having a great & relaxing one. Day off wooo hoo!!! Thought I would treat us all today with some gorgeous pics from Rob’s time in Sydney last May. The memories – *beams*
As we know, Rob is attending the ‘People’s Choice Awards’ tonight and is nominated in the Favorite Movie Actor category for his portrayal of Jacob Jankowski in ‘Water for Elephants’. ‘Water for Elephants’ is also nominated for Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite Book Adaptation. Here’s to a big, and much deserved, win for Rob and WFE.
The live stream from the PCAs website will begin at 7:30 pm ET. (U.S.)
Updated: A couple more livestreams that the awards are meant to be streaming from. I’ve checked them & they do work at the moment so fingers crossed they hold & the awards are actually screened on them LOL.
Yanir Dekel interview with Rob during the ‘Water for Elephants’ press junket. Rob extends a ‘Happy Holidays’ greeting in Hebrew at the end. I’m convinced he could master any language he chose.
I know how much we all love taking a trip down Rob memory lane, my idea of heaven. I thought I would put together a montage of pics that span from 2005-present. Rob in all his beautiful glory - past & present. I just adore this man more than I can ever express in words – preaching to converted I know…
Is there anyone out there that doesn’t own a copy of The Bad Mother’s Handbook or Water for Elephants? Yeah I didn’t think so, in any event, even when you do own Rob’s movies there is something special about seeing them available on TV. So the Universal Channel on FOXTEL/Austar is screening BMHB on Thursday 5 January 2012 at 10.15 pm and again at 10.30 am on Friday 6 January 2012. Please check your own guides just in case.
And whilst I’m at it, you can purchase a download from FOXTEL to watch WFE here.
Lucky people in Sydney have the opportunity to see Rob as the beautiful Jacob on the big screen once again – how exciting! Water For Elephants is being screened for free on Wednesday January 11 at 8.30PM as part of ‘Movies By The Boulevard’ which is held at Cathy Freeman Park. To read all the info, click here. What a great night it sounds. I just LOVE that Water For Elephants is one of the films chosen, smart smart people. If I lived in Sydney I would so be there!!
