Respecting Rob because actions speak louder than words.
I know you thought I was going to say Cedric didn’t you. Well lise-lou stumbled across BreakstudiosScreenJunkies article on it’s top 5 Death Scenes for 2010 last night, but wasn’t sure whether she should post:
“Tyler’s Death – “Remember Me.” In “Remember Me,” Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a troubled young adult. Despite much foreshadowing, it is easy to be caught off guard by Tyler’s death scene at the end of the movie. A zooming camera reveals Tyler standing inside one of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center on September 11th.”
Cool right. Better keep the tissues close by … Caro you might want to stop right here – I decided to include some of my screencaps.
Oooh Rob’s just scraped it in – age wise I mean – not that he’s not “hot”. I cannot believe Rob is 25 this year – where did all the time go. Oh yeah I think I spent it googling, posting and um yeah ogling (only slightly). According to ETOnline:
Robert Pattinson (24)
What’s He Done: Other than melt hearts of tweens, teens and women all over the world,
British beautyRobert Pattinson has starred in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,
‘ ‘Remember Me’ and ‘The Twilight Saga.’
What’s Up Next: Robert will round out the beloved vamp series with the last installment
of ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ and the film adaptation of ‘Water for Elephants,’
starring Reese Witherspoon.
It’s been an absolute scorcher today, so here’s Rob’s attempt to cool things down a little. Really? Like that’s even possible – can’t blame me for trying though.
Hope you all had a Happy Australia Day (or are still celebrating). We may not have Rob gracing our beautiful beaches just yet, but perhaps a little glimpse of things to come? *dreams*
And well, I was ever so thirsty …
I’d like to say tell us something we didn’t know, but then some of us might not know it since they probably don’t follow box office profits as closely as I do. There are other actors in Hollywood who some people think outshine Rob, but I’ve been watching their box office results and well let’s just say bums on seats / DVD sales speak louder than Hollywood PR machines … yep I said it. Anyway, The Numbers.com analysed films released in 2010 and came up with their list of most profitable films of the year:
“In making this calculation, we took the production budget, domestic and international box office and domestic DVD sales for each movie released during the year and calculated a rough total gross profit for the film. There’s just one chart this week, but we think you’ll find it interesting.”
Remember Me made it in at no. 30, but you can click on the link to see the rest. Of course Eclipse is also in the list at no. 2, which means Rob’s had two profitable films in one year. Hmm might explain why the critics are currently shying away from the anti-Rob bandwagon for Cosmopolis. I do believe there might be 3 films on that list for 2011.
There is something hypnotic about the way he removes pieces of clothing. Don’t you agree? Happy Saturday night ALL and no, I’m not losing my marbles with respect to the first Rob.
2010 has been an amazing Rob year. So so many wonderful moments & all so very special. 2011 is almost upon us & what a PHENOMINAL year it is going to be – all thanks to Rob of course. Oh how I cannot wait *jumps up & down* To finish off the year – my last post for 2010, I just wanted to share with you all a montage of my most fave pics from one of my fave Rob appearances from the year – the New York Remember Me Premiere back on March 1. The excitement of seeing Rob promote this beautiful movie is something I will never forget. Proud moments indeed – so so very proud. Rob your performance as Tyler still leaves me speechless each & every time I watch & always will. Brilliant doesn’t even come close to being good enough to describe how wonderful you are in this role – there are just no words in existence. Enjoy everyone & I also have this message………
I hope you all, our friends, followers & affiliates have a wonderful new years eve & I wish you all the happiness for 2011. And, of course – Happy New Year to you Rob – the most beautiful, special & talented man in the whole world. *cheers everyone*
