AUSTRALIA: The Lost City of Z Being Released on 24 August 2017

Robert Pattinson “The Lost City of Z” in Australian cinemas on 24 August 2017

Yes Robert that’s my reaction too! I’m still holding out hope that it has a run at The Sydney Film Festival in June, but according to Studio Canal, Robert Pattinson “The Lost City of Z” is being released in Australia on 17 August 2017.   A specific date is yet to be confirmed.  I guess since Roadshow is releasing Charlie Hunnam’s “King Arthur” on 11 May in Oz, they might not want his movies going up against each other.  Stay tuned.

August? Well I must say, I’d prefer your SFF idea @maria. Lucky we’re a patient bunch . *not*

Agree with Sue. At least we have some idea now.

Lucky you can’t see me now. Im throwing a very unflattering tanty.

I’ll still keep my hopes up for SFF until we have proof it isn’t showing.

And I’ll try to to muster the endurance to limp on through to August

17 August 2017 to be exact Sue – I read the date the Aussie way but Studio Canal have confirmed in a tweet.

Posted On: February 24th, 2017 By: Maria

You know @Carmel films that were opening and closing night last year weren’t released for another month so … I’m still hoping. Not to mention TCOAL was in official competition at SFF 2016 and it’s being released this year in Australian cinemas. I’m still putting it out there!!!
