*NEW FILM ROLE* Production Weekly Mentions Robert Pattinson for Zellner Bros “Damsel”

image host

According to Production Weekly, both Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska have been “mentioned” for the leads of the new Zellner Bros western/comedy “Damsel”. Nothing is mentioned on IMDbPro as yet.  You will remember I tweeted about this on 2 July here and here, but would wait for some form of “official” confirmation and this may be as close as we get.  I know I’m in the minority but I love the secrecy surrounding this film. It reminds me of The Rover and we know how Robert’s performance turned out because of that.

Thanks CandyQ

Thanks Posh and Justoneofus1 for the heads up.

PS.  I’m setting up a film page for “Damsel” although there’s not much information on it as yet.

Could not agree more Maria re: the secrecy. I wish all film’s were that way, makes things so much better, in every way. Thanks for the update 🙂

A comedy? Lordy, I hope this happens.

You know I’m with you on keeping things on the down low. 🙂

Since he and Mia have worked together he will be more relaxed. Rob as a cowboy? And funny? Oh, yes! This will be great!

Thank you, Maria!
