I’ve done a bit of searching to find the “12” theatres that Box Office Mojo claims are going to screen “LIFE” in the US.  One thing I found in my search is that there are some theatres that are yet to update their sites with December releases (and a few that have conspicuously left 4 December 2015 blank, so I will check them again over the next week or so. This list may no doubt be subject to change and I will keep you updated as I find more, but I thought I’d give it a start now.  Thanks to Emerging Pictures for some of this info

iNDEMAND, I believe, distributes movies to US cable networks.  They have “LIFE” included as movies to look out for in December – “Other indies to notice:  In Life, Robert Pattinson (Twilight) plays a Life Magazine photographer who forms a friendship with the emerging actor James Dean, played by Dane DeHaan (Lincoln).” It also has a dropdown box that takes you to your provider’s website.  The most interesting bit of information though is that it says “Available December 4th 2015 – February 29th”

CANADA

We posted back on 26 October 2015, that the release date in Canada would be limited on 4 December 2015.  According to Film Canada, Life will be released in Toronto, Calgary, Saskatoon, Halifax and Vancouver.

Cineplex has “Life” listed under coming soon.  There’s a problem with their page though, as they seem to have the poster and trailer up but wrong description and classification on the page.  I understand Cineplex | Scotiabank Cinemas has complexes in Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax, Saskatoon & Calgary.  Not sure if they have exclusive screenings of the film.  I’ll continue the search and obviously update.  *Update 23 Nov ’15:  Cineplex confirmed to me that the movie will premiere at “select” Cineplex cinemas.  Stay tuned.
