According to De Telegraaf:

“Liz (Mia Wasikowska) leads a happy life with her husband and children. She can not talk, but is nevertheless a valued member of the community. Everything changes when a new pastor (Guy Pearce), who loves everything that Liz is trying to destroy, appears in the village.

“The recordings will take place this spring in Canada and Europe. Brimstone will be seen in the autumn of 2016 in the Dutch cinema.”

    Interesting. Besides the obvious Rob connection, I am excited to see Guy and Mia work together. In fact, I think I would see Guy in anything.
