STICKY POST: SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW POSTS

cosmo20

Well I understand how frustrating it was for Aussies last week when we gave away the “Night with Robert Pattinson” prize packs sooooooo …. I’m happy to say ICON Movies have given us one (1) Blu-Ray copy of Cosmopolis to give away to a lucky Aussie! All you have to do is comment on this post – maybe tell us why you love Rob or Eric or just say you want to win and one random lucky person will be the owner of Eric on blu-ray & movie- tie in.

Update: ICON just emailed me and are now offering the movie tie-in Cosmopolis book. I’m not sure which cover it will be, but I’ll let you know as soon as I receive it.

Remember when we all saw the teaser and couldn’t wait to see and own it:

Would absolutely love to win this (along with everyone else!) Really enjoyed the movie when I saw it in the cinema – which I was surprised as I thought I might not enjoy it seeing as it was so different – but seeing how brilliant Rob was in it made it all worth it! 🙂

‘tell us why you love Rob or Eric’. OMG – I will get NO sleep if I document that.
I will say that I read Delillo for the first time when Rob won the roll of Eric. I was blown away by the language and have become a massive fan of his writing. I was excited and nervous as to how those harsh and beautiful words would translate onto film.
I shouldn’t have worried. Here, Rob bought another immense talent into my sphere – the wonderful David Cronenberg. He had the talent and respect for the source material to make a simply stunning film that as many reviewers say; stays with you long after the lights have gone up.
Then there is Rob – and all the other brilliant actors. They bought this book to life. They all breathe naturalness into that strange dialogue that blows me away.
I have never been a movie buff and Cosmopolis has highlighted why. I want movies like this one, not the drivel that plays at the multiplexes most weekends. I now know they are around, I just have to put a bit more work in myself to find them. Following DC and Rob will be a good starting point it seems
If that movie tie-in is anything like as exciting as the extras then what a treat it will be.
RPAU – I’m sorry I went on, but you asked – LOL. (I’m glad I kept dual citizenship after my hasty US nuptials last week)

Oh, you darling girls at RPAU (and Icon Movies)! You always try and keep us all happy. I would adore to own this on DVD (or Blue ray or book or whatever) so I can watch this brilliant movie again and again. If I win this, my partner can’t bitch and gripe that I’m spending money on Rob. Can’t say anything if it’s free, can he? LOL. Good luck everyone!

What a wonderful christmas present this will be for whoever wins! Have to say this is my favourite Rob movie. His performance was incredible, and critics and peers have sat up and taken notice of someone we all knew had more to offer.
You girls are always looking out for us! Thanks RPAU and Icon Movies! Goodluck everyone 🙂

I really love how different this film is and to watch Rob play a really different role from what he has previously done in his career is wonderful; I would more than love to have the opportunity to win this prize pack. I can’t wait for Rob’s next projects

All I want for Christmas … is to watch Eric unravel bit by bit. Can’t wait to see what next year brings.

This movie was a defining moment for Rob. People outside of Twilight got to see what he is capable of. I loved watching Rob play Eric as a uptight, out of touch with reality person who slowly loses his shit through out the movie. Subtle but oh so sweet.

I haven’t been around for weeks (life getting in the way) so I have no clue what the Night with Robert Pattinson thing was, so it was nice to log in tonight and see this. What a great way to spend the Christmas break. Watching Rob at home and being able to share his talent with any loved ones that popped in…..Christmas is a time of sharing!!
    Good Luck everyone!

What is there not to like about this movie? Tought provoking, challenging and intense, those are the first words that come to mind. The fact that Rob absolutely killed it it as Eric was the icing on the cake. Owning a copy of this brilliant movie is the best present you could ask for!!!!!!!

Please don’t include me in the competition, i may or may not have multiple copies of the movie already *giggles* and I know i have an irreplaceable copy of the film tie in BUT thank you RPAU and ICON Movies for giving us the chance!!!
