I’ve never really understood the crying, freaking out that happens when people meet a “celebrity”.   After all they’re just people like you and me who chose a different career.  I guess I should be glad I don’t get starstruck.  Also, I wonder what Dean saw that made him move in LOL

@Maria I’ve been saying the same thing for years. Why do these girls cry like that? I would be smiling a big happy smile instead. Ever since I saw footage from Elvis concerts I could never understand that reaction.

Maybe Dean was moving in for his own hug – he has a little “celebrity status ” of his own going on. 🙂

I had to watch that 3 times before I could see Dean move ~ kept forgetting to take my eyes off Rob, then his Dad caught my eye LOL.

RE the crying, I had a Michael Jackson experience in London years ago where about 25 of us spent 40 mins with him (by chance) in a HMV store. The whole thing remains the most surreal experience of my life …… there were tears of joy surrounding me, and it’s the only time I came even close to tearing up in public. But that was the thing, I just couldn’t do it in public …. I’m pretty sure I was the only one who didn’t though, so I felt like quite the freak! I apparently still get overly animated though, even now, when I speak of it ……. remember it like it was yesterday ……

@Ephie – I agree re the big smile or maybe even the struck dumb look.
