We first posted this news here & we now have official confirmation from ICON that the Australian release date for Cosmopolis HAS indeed been brought forward to 2 August 2012. So that means we will see Eric FOUR weeks earlier *dances around the room!!!*  How awesome is that.  Australia has also now been added to the list of release dates on the Official Cosmopolis Site *runs to change countdown clock*

@barbara I’m hoping this isn’t going to be the case. We are waiting on ICON to confirm to us how limited the release is going to be – fingers crossed – but I feel for all of you.

It really is tough when your local cinema doesn’t screen Rob’s films, feel your pain there barbara. Makes me so sad 🙁 I only have one cinema in my city which is Village & the only Rob film besides the Twilight ones that they have screened has been Water For Elephants. I of course always travel to see him, but it’s not the same as being only 10 minutes away. So looking forward to hearing from ICON re: the release as Maria explained above.
