@Penny – that last clip – I don’t want to give anything away in case someone reads the comments but doesn’t watch the clips. I can’t wait to see that on the big screen. I don’t know these “wooden performance” comments seem a little fabricated to me but each to his own I guess.

Guess what ladies???? JUST FINISHED WATCHING IT!!!! OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! Do you girls know how fucking excited I am???? Oh I’m sure you all do.
He was brilliant a total dick, he did such a great job. I’m so proud of him. So, so thankful that we get to enjoy him now, in the present. I can’t wait for you all to see it.

Awe thanks Sue. Yes sometimes I can go a little insane ha ha ha. (year right a little). I was bursting at the seems with excitement. He was brilliant, and beautiful.
AHHHHH!!!! SQUEEEEE!!!! I really can’t wait for you all to see it. Sometimes I feel a little guilty when I get to see him before you girls. NO, but not enough for me not to see him. God I’m so excited I just want to scream!

Awwww Martha, am so thrilled for you. Have been looking forward to hearing your response so so much. No wonder you can hardly contain yourself. You HAVE seen Georges, AT LAST squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I think the day I finally see him on the big screen I may pass out from excitement haha. I have to travel to see him as my pathetic cinema isn’t screening him but hey, I’d travel anywhere for Rob. Even if I have to spend the whole day at the cinema so I can see him multiple times, I’ll do it. Such a hard life isn’t it LOL 😀

WOW!!! Love them all but that last one is amazing. i have but one complaint, just as i’m getting into the clips, the bloody things end!!!!!!! Thank God it is only those 17 sleeps is all i am saying!!!!
Martha, OMG, I always love your reactions. if I hadn’t been excited to see the movie before I most certainly would be now!!!! As Sue said, it is contagious!!!! Never change, mwah!!!

I am so excited for Martha M and glad in a way that I am getting to see clips here and there wouldn’t want to faint and miss it when I finally to get to see Grorges on the big screen – but hey still a possibility mmmmm he is so fine 🙂

Hi Ladies – Have enjoyed your website for over a year now. I too am a quietly dedicated Rob fan. Watched Bel Ami on VOD today. Rob is awesome; the levels of emotion I saw filter over his face were fascinating. I felt more sympathy to his character than I expected, based on Rob’s description of Georges at the Berlin Festival press conference. It’s a beautiful film, although I thought the editing did the story no favors. Cheers from North Carolina.

Finally had a chance to watch it today. Wow. Rob is brilliant as Georges! He’s one beautiful bastard. The way he conveys emotions through his facial expressions leaves me breathless. I’m so proud of him. Aussie ladies, he is SO worth the wait!

Hi @Charlotte – thanks for letting us know. That’s the consensus from others re the editing. Both @Jules and @Martha said to me if you haven’t read the book and you see the film you might not get the full picture. Shame that, but they also agree re your opinion of Rob. Can’t wait to see it so we can all discuss.
