Hi Ladies – Have enjoyed your website for over a year now. I too am a quietly dedicated Rob fan. Watched Bel Ami on VOD today. Rob is awesome; the levels of emotion I saw filter over his face were fascinating. I felt more sympathy to his character than I expected, based on Rob’s description of Georges at the Berlin Festival press conference. It’s a beautiful film, although I thought the editing did the story no favors. Cheers from North Carolina.

Finally had a chance to watch it today. Wow. Rob is brilliant as Georges! He’s one beautiful bastard. The way he conveys emotions through his facial expressions leaves me breathless. I’m so proud of him. Aussie ladies, he is SO worth the wait!

Hi @Charlotte – thanks for letting us know. That’s the consensus from others re the editing. Both @Jules and @Martha said to me if you haven’t read the book and you see the film you might not get the full picture. Shame that, but they also agree re your opinion of Rob. Can’t wait to see it so we can all discuss.
