Harry Potter Exhibition Coming to Sydney

The Powerhouse Museum in Sydney will be holding the Harry Potter Exhibition from 19  November 2011 until 18 March 2012.  Tickets go on sale next Tuesday 19 July 2011.  Why am I posting this you ask?  Well apart from the fact that you might get to actually see the Triwizard Cup and the Golden Egg (and Cedric I will  always think of the prefect’s bathroom  whenever the Golden Egg is mentioned *giggles*)  – I have had confirmation that the dress robes worn by Cedric at the Yule Ball will definitely be included at the Sydney exhibition *squee*.  Well it’s not Rob, but it close enough for now …

    Pre-sale tickets to the event started yesterday. Already purchased my tickets (opening day if course) so it’s a huge bonus that Cedric’s dress robe will be there!

    Oh thanks for that @Ursula – I only heard about the Sydney Exhibition a few hours ago and thankfully had confirmation that Cedric’s robes are definitely on their way to Sydney! How excitement.

    Is it just Sydney at this stage?
    I’d love to go to this in Melbourne (when I’m home of course, hope the dates correlate if it’s coming). I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. Would love to see Ceddie’s dress robes in person.
    (But then again, another weekend in Sydney wouldn’t be that bad)

    Woo Hoo! Just checked out the website! Maria, another weekend in Sydney is definately on the cards now. I’m sending a link to my aunty who is Harry Potter potty. Might make it a girls weekend!

    This is exciting. And a fitting way for us to celebrate the end of an era. Count me in!!
    I went and saw HP7 today. I was a little disappointed not to be treated to the Breaking Headboard trailer but the movie itself was great and was a fitting end to this wonderful series.
    BTW: A little hint if you are seeing it at an Events cinema – stay till after the end credits 🙂

    I agree it was the best way to end this magnificent franchise. I still can’t believe it’s over though.

    Ceddie’s dress Robes are coming to Sydney WOOT! Count me in.

    @Hannah – the exhibition will only be held in Sydney from November until late March 2012.
