This was so, so funny!!! Rob was such a good sport with the multiple choice bit. Paul McDermott is hilarious!! I have to say Rob I’m sure there are many of us here in Oz that would love it if you made a movie down here!!! I think I squealed a little when he said that LOL.

Lmao! Dinky di sounds like a threat.
Love this interview. Paul could so easily be taken the wrong way, Rob handled it really well and I’m ecstatic that someone managed to entertain him for a change.

Hahahaha I LOVE this interview. It’s brilliant! LOL the multiple choice part is just hilarious. Rob you are such a good sport. We would love if you came & made a movie in Australia Rob, love love love it 😀 I’m with you Vertigo, so good to see Rob being the one entertained here. Love seeing him laugh like this. The same old boring interviewers must drive him mad.

I have to say, I wasnt that Impressed with the interview. I love Paul, but he was a bit off. Not sure if he really wanted to interview Rob, probably just thinks of him as “that twilight kid”.

Would have been 1000 times better if they were in studio, and Rob got the concept of the show.

I think the only word he recognised at the end was ‘Kylie’ 😛

Thanks so much for posting this – Channel 10 in SA decided the football was more interesting to watch – wasn’t happy!!

That was sooo good. I wish it could have gone on forever. Rob’s look at the end was priceless.

Thanks for posting as I was another disappointed SA viewer last night all poised and ready to tune into GNW only to be slammed in the face with the AFL. I agree with Brooke it would’ve been simply awesome to have Robert in studio with the GNW crew and then he definitely would’ve been part of the concept and humour. Nevertheless I do think Robert gets us Aussies as our humour isn’t too far removed from England’s – our slang is a remodelling of there’s. I was hoping one of the Aussie interviewers would’ve asked him if he knew much in the way of Australia music – I reckon he’d like a bit of John Butler Trio, Bob Evans and even Julia and Angus Stone (he’s certainly commented about Sia in he past and she’s a fellow Adelaidean).

mmmmmmm @Carmel, lol!!! I hear ya girl! *reciprocates sigh* (their height difference during the duet could be extraordinarily funny) @Chelle, we can only hope so re Rob being enlightened to Aussie music, if he makes it back here later this year (erm, with his guitar pretty please) 🙂

🙂 LOL @Maria, your Rob-meter knows no bounds, ha ha! I was kinda hoping the guitar goes where Rob goes; it would just be so sweet if we all got to hear/see him use it again one day. *daydream replays again*

Oh that was priceless!!!! Absolute gold. The thought of Rob going back to to his mates and trying say ‘ken oath’ kills me with laughter! Unfortunately I too live in a state where AFL comes before Rob (ridiculous I know) so thrilled that you posted this Maria. Am sure Sydney would love to have you back Rob 😀
