This was definitely a great interview, but it seems thats normally the case with him and Josh,
BUT
did anyone else feel a little sad for Rob at times in this one?
Maybe its my mood, but especially when he was talking about how he would like a mundane job and the camaraderie of the guys pitching the tents – its made me realise how lonely a job it must be sometimes.
And when he talked about liking fast cars and motorbikes and the offhand dismissal of how that hasn’t happened or isn’t going to happen… poor Rob, its been a busy couple of days for us keeping up with all the interviews and appearances, but it must be so overwhelming for him.
I know he starts cosmopolis in may apparently, but here’s hoping he gets a little break from the chaos to recharge a little bit before it all starts up again. (His birthday might be a good excuse).
I would be more than happy to offer him a hug ofcourse, if he needed it.

Ooh he was very very silent re Akira. Very. Rob being tightlipped for once.
@Liz – nope didn’t feel sad for Rob – he pretty much doesn’t let on whether he’s getting a fast car or a bike (the motorcycle is more in reference to the role in Akira) – that’s Rob. He says one thing and does the opposite – always keeps us guessing.

I just worried he was feeling a little glum and it stuck with me for the day.
He was charming as always ofcourse.I just thought he seemed like he might have been tired and a bit flat – missing the simple life a bit.
I’m glad you know his style better than me. He’s so sweet, I hate to imagine him having a mild case of the “Art”s. 🙂
