    I was not expecting to see these GORGEOUS pics this morn. Talk about the best surprise to log into. CANNOT wait to see more & of course, buy the mag 😀 Rob on the cover once again – wooo hooo!! LOVE him in that hat.

    And we only have to wait until next week until we see it @Vertigo – hopefully VF on 3 March and new WFE trailer on 4 March. EPIC is an understatement 😀

    @lids all of a sudden March is looking mighty fine. We did say 2011 was going to be epic but I think “epic” doesn’t cut it anymore – there are no words for 2011. This is most definitely Rob’s year.

    @Vicky I kinda suspected Leibovitz & VF was going to be true seeing as she shoots so many covers for them, but it’s definitely great to see these. Looking at the 3rd last pic – looks like she’s getting deep in the water for this shoot – I’m waiting with anticipation to see what the transpires from that (wondering whether Rob has to stand waist deep in water *fansoneself*)

    Oh God @Vicky I have now teased myself of pics of Rob coming out of the water ala Riley in Eclispe – ahahaha – it’s Annie Leibovitz anything is possible and this woman KNOWS how to photograph beautiful subjects. Oh wait – the fanning is no longer helping LOL.

    @Sare I’m pretty sure you have to subscribe to entire year of VF to order online, but I do have a contact in Canada that I bought my last VF mag from. I’ll email her tonite to see if she can get it and I’ll let you know. It’s a little pricier than it would be if you bought it here, but at least you know you will have it, but for me – money is no object when it comes to Rob 😀

    The hat kinda reminds me of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, or even Tomstu in Waiting for Forever. Im not sure I like it now, but it is growing on me.
    The black shirt though? Thud.

    (btw, Thank you Maria, Ive lost a friend I went to school with and a couple of people I know are still unaccounted for, but I know there are others who are far, far worse)

    Rob in black, Rob in White, Rob in a hat, in the water, in the woods….could it get any better? Oh, well, yeah, maybe, *shakesheadclearsnaughtythoughts* And we only have to wait a week (hopefully)!
    @Cindy Three copies at least. LOL
    One for the Rob Collection, to have next to the Details, GQ, other VF etc (off limits to anybody, except me on special occasions), the 2nd, just for me for ogling, admiring, pawing over etc and the 3rd for anyone else who wants to admire The Pretty (husband, kids, mother, visitors). @sare pop a piece of bread in the toaster for me too! The kids are having 2 minute noodles for the next week.

    Ok am not really any more composed especially now I can see these on my pc instead of the phone. Holy *(^%!!!!

    I can’t tell you how happy I am to see these it means it’s real, he really did shoot with Annie which is just all kinds of awesome and the best will be yet to come. Oh and there’s water + Rob *mind wanders* Squuueeeeeeeee!

    So weird because I was just thinking about this shoot before I fell asleep last night and wondered how long until we get to see it and how amazing these pics are going to be. It’s like I woke up in the best kind of dream *pinches self*

    Well Maria, you did it again – I missed a couple of days due to being crazy busy & you’ve gone and posted the very best kind of treat to come back to. Sigh. Just hope we can get that mag here – the kids might not notice noodles & toast for a few days but hubby might, lol!

    @Caro, thoughts are with you also. A friend’s elderly mum has lost her house & is now living in her garden shed – but so thankful for her life. Hope any news you get from now on will be stories of humanity overcoming adversity x
