All this talk yesterday about WFE, Reese and Christoph made me want to see Rob, in a tux, at the Oscars. Â I so hope they invite him back next year, otherwise I won’t be watching … again.

Thank you for posting them. Rob is always perfect in a tux, he really knows how to impress a woman. And what about that look he gives in the first picture, in the fourth one, in the sixth one and in the last one?? It makes me smile all the time. His stare, his half smile is a delight for my senses. I love Robert Pattinson at the Oscar.
I agree with you Maria, without Rob, there will be no Oscar to me in 2011 again.

I know @LTavares2010 – Rob at the Oscars in 2009 was the first time I even bothered to watch them in forever. He was so so nervous that I found it even more endearing. He is just beautiful.

I loved him at the oscars. If they want to up ratings then all they need to do is get him there and make sure they cut the camera to him religiously! If he’s not there for 2011 then he’ll definately be there for 2012. Cause, you know, he and his movies be nominated!

ITA. 2011 will be a great year with the releases of WFE and Bel Ami, a great year to Rob, working at more interesting projects and 2012 will be definitely a great year for nominations and awards for him.

I’m pretty sure I remember reading something about the boost in numbers the year Rob was at the Oscars. Not that it makes a difference to me, as long as he’s on then I’m beyond happy.

No you are right @Vertigo – they made a comparison with this year’s when they didn’t invite Rob as a presenter and the ratings where much lower. I’m also pretty sure the 2009 oscars had record ratings over the last 10 or so years. I know I never bothered to watch except for the year that Rob was on and let’s not forget that Hugh was the host too!

Yep you’re right Vertigo & Maria, I remember that too. 2009 was the first time I have watched The Oscars ever & I won’t be watching again until Rob is invited.
