Who can forget the first time we heard those three little words – God is it 2011 yet?  I thought I’d put a little video together of some of my favourite interviews where Rob talks about either  Bel Ami or  Water For Elephants or both.  There seems to be more Bel Ami but I wasn’t being biased … really.  Whenever Rob speaks the rest of the world pretty much disappears for me, but when he says Guy de Maupassant or Georges Duroy – me and the world almost become one – well passing out tends to make you hit the ground pretty fast.  As for Jacob Jankowski – well not that I want fall in love with Georges because who doesn’t love a bad boy, but Jacob seems so sweet that I think he is going to give Tyler a pretty good run for his money in the fave role department.  Anyway enough of me rambling, since we couldn’t bring you footage of Georges or Jacob,  I thought I’d bring something that I consider better … pure Rob.

Absolutely brilliant Maria you are definitely the queen of the vids!!! Not like Bel Ami, oh Rob, that would be like, yeah, no, never gonna happen. I think seeing him as this sort of character actually makes me want to see it even more. Cannot wait to see both of these movies. LOL Maria and Cindy, thats why I always wait until i’m surrounded by cushions or something soft otherwise I think i would just have a permanent concussion!! Thanks so much Maria.

LOL @Cindy – I couldn’t resist – I’ve been tossing around doing a tribute vid but I just ran out of time this week and then thought about how much I love these interviews. Agree – um Rob – I wouldn’t be expecting Bel-Ami not to be a hit – I’m pretty sure if there’s loads of you in it – I’ll be at that cinema every opportunity I get to see you on the big screen especially since I doubt the screamers will be old enough to watch due to the ratings *pleaseGodmakeitRratedprettyplease*. Plus I love how rosy red his cheeks get when he says we’ll see more of him than Uma 😀

LOL ain’t that the truth about passing out. Everytime I hear Rob say Guy de Maupassant & Georges Duroy = me *faints* I know I’ve said this zillions of times before but 2011 just cannot get here fast enough. I CANNOT wait to see Rob as the bad boy Georges Duroy & the sweet Jacob Jankowski. I know I am going to completely totally & utterly fall in love with Jacob *sigh* LOL, so true Cindy – we’re not gonna like BA Rob, we are going to LOVE it!! I am going to be practically living at the cinema during BA & W4E’s run haha.
First of all Thank You for this beautiful video. I am absolutely sure that he would be great in the both movies. I hardly wait to see him , especially, in the Bela Ami.He would be brilliant in that role. Maybe Oscar? 🙂

Ah @Sonja unfortunately I don’t think Rob in Bel-Ami will be in the running for an oscar seeing as they usually need to have been released in the 12 months prior to the event and I think it will miss out for 2012. However, WFE – well I think perhaps that could be a possibility.

Great job Maria! You’re great and I thank you so much for the video! I don’t even want to start talking about George Duroy because I could last forever been as it is one of my fav literature character… Alwats been, I’ve been intrigued by this character my all life and I guess I’ve read the book in all possible languages at least 10 times… I simply cannot wait but I feel he will be just perfect for it!
