It was around this time last year that Rob cut his hair and almost everyone (well not me because I loved the short hair)  freaked out about it.  Then he flew home to London and we suffered the absence of him for some time, which although good for Rob, was torture for us.  I thought I would share one of my favourite photos of Rob at one of his first official sightings in 2009 – yep the Vogue Dinner in London on 6 February.  I can still recall my reaction to the pics.  Ah the beanie had returned, but I love this one that proved that the hair would be back with a vengeance …

    Thanks for posting this one Maria, one of my faves from the Vogue dinner. I remember how excited I was when I saw these pics. Was so good to see Rob again after him being absent. Ah yes, I remember the reaction very well when Rob cut his hair, people went nuts which was insane. I am a big fan of the short hair too.

    Am so glad Rob now has some time to himself & can get away from all the madness for a little bit. Will be tough for us, but so so good for Rob. Plenty of gorgeous pics to keep us happy in his absence. Look forward to sharing them all with you over the coming weeks 😀

    i cant belive i was in the SAME city as him at the same time..probably not too far away…and i DIDN’T know. *sigh* anyway..i agree that the short hair is just as hot as his longer hair. If not, better. That boy always looks good. =) anyone who stops liking someone over a hair cut is an idiot!

    God who can forget that loooong hiatus, how we suffered. I too remember these pics very well and how exciting it was to see him again.
    Wow we’ve been hanging out here for almost a year now guys.

    Short hair, long hair, bald, I don’t care – it’s Rob so get over it.

    Exactly Vertigo & Alex. Who cares what length Rob’s hair is or if he has no hair at all, he is still Rob. Some people are seriously insane.

    Yep almost a year Vertigo & what a wonderful year it has been 😀

    So true Vertigo, frankly I seriously don’t care what his hair is like, what he is wearing I still think he is just awesome however he wants to be 😉
