Thanks to Everglow, here are some pictures of Rob at the amfAR after party.  In the first three, Rob is with Emile Hirsch, Eli Roth & Kenneth Cole but we are not sure who the lady in the last photo is.  If anyone knows, it would be great if you could let us know.

I really love the first picture.  It is most definitely my favourite.  Love seeing that gorgeous smile.

I still can’t believe he was auctioned off, but Rob you knew what you were doing to drive up the price when you said “And if it goes well maybe it will turn into something more”.  (Cilla, Michelle – how much do we have in the kitty – we better start saving!).   Here are some great photos of Rob with Harvey Weinstein and Sharon Stone where, for a change, he really does look like he’s enjoying himself.  I think he is truly surprised that someone bid more than $5 for him.  Such a gracious and generous man and for a fantastic cause.  But the thing that surprised me the most – Sharon kept her panties on!  Thanks to Lion & Lamb Love.

Rob sure looks happy to be meeting Kenneth Cole (actually does anyone else think that’s ironic?)  Maybe Rob himself given the look on his face in the second photo – he looks like he’s thinking “I hope Kenneth has a range of hoodies” (don’t worry Rob I’ve had a look on his website and there are a couple there – black too).  And as great as Rob looks in his tux, I think the gruelling schedule of the last 2 days has finally taken its toll on him.  Or is he just practising his menacing Eddie look for when he meets the Volturi in a few days time?  Hmmm, still adorable though.  Thanks to pattinsonlife and lionandlamblove.

The vampy leading man was auctioned off today in Cannes for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 Cocktail Party. The bidding got so high that Pattinson was split between two bidders, who each paid $20,000 for the chance to meet, greet and win a kiss on the cheek from the ‘Twilight’ idol. Watch the video to see Harvey Weinstein introduce a blushing Rob. Movie mogul Harvey explains that all three of his young daughters want to marry the actor!

So now we know for sure why he was at the amfAR gala. Rob the philanthropist, I like the sound of that!

The videos just keep on coming (great isn’t it) In this video, we not only get to see Rob but get to hear him talk too. Is only a short interview but a really great one.

Alrightee – I have a feeling I’ve worked out why Rob’s bodyguard spends so much time jostling and manhandling Rob.  If you look closely at Rob in the second picture – he’s clearly reaching out to that women and I suspect he’s trying to say “You’ve got to help me, for the last 2 days this oaf has been trying to audition for the role of my kidnapper in “Unbound Captive”.  He clearly has misunderstood that the language I couldn’t speak is Comanche not French.  Help”.  But alas, she’s not quick enough and Rob is bundled off to his next gig as he looks into the camera knowing that he’s missed an opportunity for freedom.  I hope he at least enjoyed the film.
