Fantastic news, according to Amazon.co.uk the UK DVD release date for Little Ashes has been brought forward to July 6 2009 instead of the original date of August 24 2009.
This news has absolutely made my day, actually it has made my week. I cannot wait to see Little Ashes. July 6 cannot come quick enough.

Elizabeth Snead from the LA Times blog, The Dish Rag, interviewed, Paul Morrison, the director of Little Ashes, about casting Rob in the film. I have seen some of the Q&As in this interview previously and undoubtedly, as the US release draws closer, we will probably see many more. For me though, the best part of the article is the following:
DR: It’s wonderful to see a young actor like this, who despite the fame and the adulation is choosing a path and taking some extremely challenging and provocative roles. Do you think he will continue on that path?
PM: He is serious about acting and I am sure that, yeah, he will want to do roles that challenge him. I can’t tell you how hard he worked on the role of Dali. I was encouraging him to just play the script, but he was for himself hunting down every day bits of film or tape or interviews or a biography of Dali. He worked really hard at it, both intellectually and emotionally. I think that’s in his blood now, I think. I don’t think he’ll be satisfied with playing less than interesting roles.
I’ll ignore the fact that the Dish Rag seems to assume that Rob chose the Dali role post Twilight. Rob has always said that he doesn’t take on a role merely for the money and that he has to love the script first. We can only imagine what future roles are in store for us to appreciate his incredible talent (and please no comments about the Screaming Fangirl emerging – I’m just stating fact). To read the full article click here.
Thanks to ET Online here is a great behind the scenes clip from ’How To Be’
In this clip we see some funny moments from the filming of the movie, hear Rob’s thoughts on the movie & his character Art & also hear Johnny White & Rebecca Pidgeon talk about working with Rob. I enjoyed this clip so much & I am sure you all will too. I really adore this movie & am looking forward so much to watching it again in May when my DVD arrives.
Rob talked to Moviefone in a candid and relaxing interview. They talked about ‘Little Ashes’, how he’s dealing with fame, his new movie ‘Remember Me’ and his current project, ‘New Moon’. I love how they’re starting to pop out now – all these new interviews. This one is definitely one of my favourite ones at the moment. I wish they have a video of this.
Here are some of my favourite bits:
Kristen Stewart is going to be playing rock icon Joan Jett. Is there a rock icon that you’d like to play?
I’d love to play Van Morrison, but I doubt I would get the part [laughs].
Who would you love to tour with, if you were going to do a tour as a musician?
Rob: I’d quite like to tour with Kings of Leon. I think they’re pretty cool.
If you couldn’t be an actor or a musician, what do you think you would be doing?
I’d quite like to be a political strategist and like a spin doctor. [Laughs] I’d really, really like to do that. I think I will end up doing that at one point.

Anne Thomspon from VARIETY (who did that lovely interview with Rob in November last year) talks about Rob in HOW TO BE. Here’s an excerpt on what she wrote:
While Brit first-timer Oliver Irving’s micro-indie How to Be may not be high art, because it stars Twilight star Rob Pattinson, it has a target audience. The flick about a sadsack guitar player who moves back in with his parents after his girlfriend dumps him had been seeking a distrib since its Slamdance debut in January, 2008. I asked Pattinson about How to Be in a Twilight interview back in November (Flip Cam video below), which was seen by IFC Films buyer Arianna Boccho, who tracked down How to Be and bought it one week later for IFC Festival Direct.
Here is the 15 mns interview she did with Rob, back in November last year:
