These are not the best quality pictures and they’re from Lainey’s Gossip site (who we all know isn’t a huge Rob fan at all – and I’m putting this mildly). But they’re pictures of Rob at work, so I’m still happy to see them.

Life & Style magazine is finally out and there are 2 more photos of young Rob. We weren’t sure last week, when some of these were splashed over the internet, whether they had been officially released. However, since they appear in the article we thought it would be okay to post.  Seriously how adorable was he as a child. Is that him “running” in the second photo – clearly the jokes by Klutz and co have no basis now!
Here are some great photos of Rob (like there can ever be bad ones) from last year’s Scott Weiner photoshoot. If you’ve seen them before, well I’m not going to apologise because I can’t imagine anyone being annoyed about looking at them again. Personally, the third one is my fav. You can thank our affiliate Spunk Ransom for the reminder.

Rob has been awarded the Best Actor Award at the First Glance Film Festival which was held in California on the weekend. Rob won this award for his portrayal of Art in ‘How To Be’
Congratulations Rob. Very very well deserved.
Thanks to Tracy at the How To Be Promotional Blitz for this great news.
We thought it would be a fun idea if we introduced a ‘Video of The Week.’ Each week, we will choose one of our favourite Rob videos to share with you all. It is my turn first & I have chosen Rob’s UK Empire video as my favourite.
This interview with Rob would have to be one of my most favourites ever. I love hearing Rob’s answers to the questions & all his smiles & laughter in this video. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I always do.
I have posted the video below & you can also view our ‘Video of the Week’ here in our ‘Videos’ section.

It’s been a slow news day and so I thought I’d share my opinion (surprise surprise) on an article I recently read from Steven Zeitchik of The Hollywood Reporter’s RiskyBiz Blog (plus I needed an excuse to post one of my favourite photos of Rob).  He wrote this little piece back in March about Rob’s chances of having a successful film career post Twilight. You will see he compares Rob to other “teen hearthrobs” such as Leo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Orlando Bloom. However, I think Stevie has missed the most important “teen hearthrob” that should have been compared to Rob and that is Johnny Depp (oh yes I admit I remember Johnny from his 21 Jump Street days). Now I’ve previously been slammed in other forums for comparing Rob to Johnny, but my comparison is not based on their looks – it lies  in their role choices. They both clearly don’t follow the Hollywood norm and like to challenge themselves rather than be typecast (okay ignore the Pirate series for Johnny – he can do whatever he wants now and he did make that role entertaining. As for Twilight saga – I really don’t think Rob knew what he was getting himself in for when he signed on for this small indie type film).Â
It also appears that Stevie hasn’t bothered to actually review any of Rob’s previous acting roles given his statement “None of this even gets into the question of acting talent and range, which Pattinson has yet to display (though, granted, it’s not like the Edward Cullen part gave him much chance)“. Okay so according to Stevie, he’s probably watched him in Goblet of Fire and Twilight.  Well, I think perhaps I’ve done my research a little better than you Stevie given that I’ve seen him in Curse of the Ring, Goblet of Fire, Haunted Airman, Bad Mothers Handbook, How To Be and Twilight. So my response to Stevie’s comment is “If Rob wants to have a successful career post Twilight, I think he has the talent and range to do so. More importantly, please don’t compare him to Orlando or Tobey because personally I don’t think they are in his league”. Hmm perhaps I should give up my day job and set up my own blog given that I’ve defintely done more research!   You can read the full article here and I’d be interested to hear your comments too.
