I don’t think this is a surprise because films similar to Robert Pattinson’s “The Childhood of a Leader” usually don’t attain wide release.  I also saw it mentioned on HSX the other day and IMDbPro also has just updated with those details. At least it is being released unlike Australia *tapsfoot*

 

 

I noticed on Kinopoisk (Russia) that the release date for Robert Pattinson “Queen of the Desert” was 29 September 2016.  It also shows the distributor as “Megogo Distribution”.  Megogo is a new Russian distribution company that seems to have taken over some of Top Film Distribution’s movies.  I contacted Megogo and they have confirmed to me that they will be releasing the film on 29 September.  Happy Days.

We know that Robert Pattinson “The Childhood of a Leader” will be released in the US on 22 July 2016, but I came across IFC Center’s listing and saw that they will release screening times on 18 July 2016.  I’ll remind closer to the date.

 

November isn’t that far away!  According to Rentrak Portugal, The Childhood of a Leader will premiere on 17 November 2016 – woot woot:

SAPO confirms 17 Nov 2016 release date

 

 

So this is interesting.  I came across this new version, well new to me, of a trailer for Robert Pattinson “Queen of the Desert’ on SafariTV’s Youtube page.  The movie will screen every Saturday night at 9.30 pm as part of their Charithrem Chalachithrem programming.

 

 

Remember we mentioned in our BAMCinefest post that IFC (or Sundance Selects the sister co) was the distributor for Robert Pattinson “The Childhood of a Leader” in the US.  Well it looks like IFC will release the film in theatres and VOD on 22 July 2016.  That’s exciting.
