I don’t think there are any new behind the scenes snippets featuring Robert, but it is interesting to listen to David Grann, James Gray, Charlie Hunnam and Sienna Miller. Robert sure is keeping a low profile when it comes to promotion.  You can check out all of Studio Canal’s clips for The Lost City of Z here

See Robert Pattinson as T E Lawrence in Queen of the Desert in selected US cinemas and VOD from 14 April 2017

I know I’m in the minority but I really liked Queen of the Desert.  I know I’ve mentioned it before but if you don’t treat this film as a pure historical biopic and realise how tongue in cheek it is at some points, then you should enjoy it.  The best review for me (and I’m not being biased) is Jess Ellicott’s from 4:3. I went into the film with this in mind and am pretty sure it’s why I didn’t walk out disappointed.  In any event, IFC Films are preparing for it’s limited cinema and VOD release on 14 April 2017.  Here’s the official US trailer.  Don’t forget to bookmark IFC Film’s Queen of the Desert page which should update you about where you can watch the film in cinemas or on VOD.

Behind the scenes footage of Robert Pattinson in The Lost City of Z

image hostimage host

Anne-Claire Coudray on TF1 reported about The Lost City of Z on the weekend news bulletin (11 March 11, 2017).  Below is the report – the bts scenes with Robert start at around 2.04.

In 1905, Percy Fawcett, colonel of the British army was sent to Amazonia to clear and to delimit the borders of this territory largely unknown. “The Lost City of Z” with notably Robert Pattinson revives this explorer depicted in enigmatic figure who will die mysteriously during his 8th expedition.
