inglorious-basterds2

I swear if Rob has to pull out of yet another great film because of the Twilight Saga I’m going to scream (I’m just saying that because I’ve heard a rumour that Breaking Dawn is going to be split into 3 films – please like one isn’t going to be bad enough to sit through – freaky freaky film).  Anyway there is an article by CMaher of Movie Hunger at Celebriosity Today that gives us a little insight into Bel Ami  and I do mean little:

New Moon movie star Robert Pattinson seems to love taking on new movie roles that turn him into a character of mystery and culture. First the actor took on the role of Salvador Dali in the movie production of Little Ashes and now his future may be that of scandalous Frenchman.

Director Declan Donnellan plans to bring the short story of Guy de Maupassant to life on the movie screen with Bel Ami. It’s rumored that movie star Robert Pattinson will take on the role of Georges Duroy in the film. The movie will be focused around the life of Georges Duroy’s life as he goes from being an Ex-NCO to a very successful and wealthy businessman.

Robert Pattinson thought that his love scenes as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes were awkward, I wonder how he is going to feel courting several women at once as Georges Duroy? Why? Well the way that this character raises him to the top is by having affairs with several notable and wealthy women.”

Okay well the film is listed on Rob’s IMDb page as “In Development” so I guess you can’t really say that Rob’s “rumoured” to be in it, although what you could say is that he may not be in it because it either doesn’t get the go ahead or “scheduling” conflicts – yes I am still not over that he had to pull out of Parts Per Billion because of New Moon (oh but thanks to New Moon he’s now a “movie star” -  lol). Sorry I do love him as Eddie, but I love him more as Dali.

And has CMaher actually seen or heard of Little Ashes?  I’m not sure how you can compare the awkwardness of love scenes with Javier Beltram to courting 3 women at the same time (CMaher – I don’t believe there is a menage a trois in the film – although you can correct me if I wrong, but I believe you may be thinking of a different Bel Ami – hmmm).  Anyway if you want to read the rest of the article, please click on the link above.  Again thanks to our affiliate Thinking of Rob for the tip.
