I’m sorry everyone, but I just felt compelled to do this small post in tribute to Michael (and I’m pretty sure Rob won’t mind me taking this time out from him). I am still in shock with the news that has come out this morning. I was fortunate enough to see him perform in 1986 – he was the ultimate showman and few, if any, compare. Let’s not dwell on the media crap that surrounded him of late and let’s celebrate one truly truly talented man. Michael your incredible talent will be missed, but thankfully your music will live on – you have been inspirational to so many in that industry. Our heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved Michael. Maria & Michelle.
Just taking a break from the Remember Me set pictures (never fear, there will be more to come lol) Maria & myself are very excited to announce that the updates to our FILMS section are now complete. We now have individual pages for each of Rob’s past, current & also future projects.
Please go & visit our FILMS section & tell us what you think. You can do this by clicking here or you can always access this page by clicking on the ‘FILMS” tab on the site banner which is located at the top of the page. Please let us know what you think, as always we love to hear from you all.
According to Variety, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan & Chris Cooper are set to join Rob in his upcoming film ‘Remember Me’
Taken from their article:
Summit Entertainment has set Emilie de Ravin (“Lost”), Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper to star alongside Robert Pattinson in “Remember Me,” the Allen Coulter-directed drama that begins production in New York on June 15.
So now we have the answer to our question as to who will be playing the role of the leading lady. I have not seen much of Emilie apart from her role in the Television series Roswell (which was a huge favourite of mine) & also Lost, but from what I have seen of her work, I think she is a great choice for the female lead. I am really looking forward to seeing Rob in this role & am very excited about the film. It sounds like a really great story.

Hi everyone, I’d just like to let you know that from now on, Maria and Michelle will run the Robert Pattinson Australia site, instead of myself. They are extremely dedicated Rob fans and they’ve been doing an amazing job at the site for the past few months. I believe that they will take this site to a much better place than I ever could.
Nevertheless, I won’t completely disappear from this site. I will continue posting news and help out with anything that will be required.
Finally, I’d like to thank everyone for their support for this site. We really appreciate that you’re taking the time to visit our site and we really enjoy reading your comments. Thank you so much.
We had heard that Rob (Kristen & Taylor – I’m obliged to mention them too) were to be presenting a snippet of footage from New Moon at this year’s MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. MTV has now confirmed that what they will be presenting is the first official trailer from the movie. Screams of delight – will there be footage of the breakup scene, the clocktower (like we can get enough of that), Eddie and Jacob fighting – ooh the suspense. Well unfortunately for us Aussies, we won’t get the Awards until 4.00 pm on 1 June, but thankfully MTV are going to upload the trailer onto their site on Sunday night 10.45 pm (LA time) – that’s about 3.45 pm Monday 1 June (Sydney time). If you want to save the link for ease on Monday, click on the highlighted MTV above, but I’m going to have to practice patience since I’m expecting the amount of hits on that site will cause it to have a serious meltdown – oh and I know I should have included the New Moon poster with this post, but seriously …
‘New Moon’ won’t come out in cinemas until another six months but we can now look at their website while we wait. The official ‘New Moon’ site isn’t completely ready yet, but you can read a short synopsis of the story, download wallpapers, send e-cards or get the movie widget. Click here to go to the ‘New Moon’ official site.
We’d also like to say ‘thanks’ to the source of this news, the ‘New Moon Movie.org‘ website that has been around since beginning of the year, giving us comprehensive news and keeping us updated on the movie.
