Australia hasn’t given the film a classification as yet, but my recollection is that Cosmopolis was rated “R” in the US, but it was MA15+ in Oz. I’ll keep you updated if and when we get details about Australian classification or release.

I love what Rob does but I wish his movies would be open to a wider audience. Can’t wait to see it though (joins in giggling

Brilliant! Thanks Maria. Bring. It. On 🙂

Haha @Vertigo. Some of us JUST sneak in there *cough*
Roberta
In Europe it won’t even get the rated 14! lol Thx maria!

Yeah! That’s what we like to hear. Sick of movies being dumbed-down or pruded-up because they want to sell more tickets to a younger audience. God bless the Europeans and their much more relaxed attitude to nudity and sex – we’re not living in the 50s any more, people! (If it’s been rated, does this mean someone’s already seen it?)
I am SO hanging out to see this movie! Thanks for the update, Maria.

‘strong disturbing violence & sexual content’ is what Cronenberg does. It is good to see him not pulling the punches for MTTS
