Few More Pics of Rob on The Rover Set

I love seeing people’s initial reactions to Rob’s character Rey … it’s funny how it reinforces the fact that a few people can’t distinguish between fiction and reality (I’m not talking about people’s comments @ RPAU, but over the net in general).  As Vertigo says “I guess that’s good – it means he’s doing his job right”.   Anyway – hot, dusty, gritty – that’s our Outback people.  I can’t wait to hear Rob talking about his experiences whilst filming.

Loving this Maria. I see he’s perfecting that aussie salute and yes that smile……I know this is premature but I hope there’ll be lots of good advertising for this movie.

*nods* to your comments Maria. Such a shame that those people cannot appreciate the wonderful & amazing roles Rob treats us with. Their loss though, completely. Loving that smile, loving these pics. Cannot wait to see The Rover, my excitement grows more & more by the day 🙂

The banner is just brilliant isn’t it Silvie, LOVE it so much,

@Silvie – it’s a small budget indie film – $12 million is not a lot of money in comparison. I’m sure it will be shown at one of the major film festivals like TIFF or Sundance, but I wouldn’t expect it to have extensive mainstream media advertising. Although we might see more given that it’s a fully Australian production.

Just the fact that Rob will be introduced to another new audience – Michod film fans – warms my heart. Just let’s prepare ourselves for the derogatory reviews from Marg & David – we know they refuse to give Rob an inch.

I know you’re right Maria, it’s me just hoping. As for Marg & David, for sure they’ll just be demeaning. I can’t just can’t watch them. I made the effort when they were supposed to review Cosmopolis and they put me off even more.

I really can’t wait to see this move. Rey looks like a complete departure for Rob. And once more, he is working with quality people. This is the future, ladies. Yippeeee

That smile just kills me. No amount of grime hides those lashes.
