Sorry about the 5 separate videos this week, Michelle did have this as one video but it has been removed from YouTube. So here is EW’s Kate Ward interviewing Rob in relation to Twilight. Both Michelle and I agree that this is one of our favourites. It’s always so good to hear Rob’s thoughts on – well anything to be honest. I’m always so enthralled whenever he speaks. I just love listening to the man. Note to Rob – I don’t say that very often so you should be flattered.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out something that Rob said in the third clip that I have to disagree with. Now Rob, don’t get upset because I know things change, but you said there was a “fierceness to the quietness of Kristen because she doesn’t feel the need to speak”. Clearly she’s overcome that “need to not speak” because the girl just would not shut up at Comic-Con – she spoke over everyone. I really wished that she had that “need” whilst you were trying to talk at this year’s EW interview – you remember even you told her to “shut up”. So annoying. Sorry about that rant – but it had to be said. And please noone tell me that it was nerves or awkwardness because she didn’t act like that last year.
As Maria has said, this interview with Rob is definitely one of our favourites. Like Maria, I love listening to Rob talk, really I could listen to him all day & never tire of hearing his voice. In this interview it is nice that Rob can just talk without any interruptions. Love all his answers as always but one of my favourites in this one would have to be the cheeseburger comment in video 2 – lol, cannot eat a cheeseburger now without thinking of that comment & can definitely relate to that. Food always tastes so so good when you haven’t been able to eat it for a long time, lol yes I speak from experience. Also have to say being a big fan of the beanie, is nice to see Rob wearing it in this one. Love the beanie.

Thanks M & M for this one I had only seen bits of it was great to see something I hadn;t seen before! This was such a great interview he is so humble about his talent, gives such honest and open answers, and completlely unaware of his appeal! No wonder we all adore him so much!
I can never tire of listening to Rob speak of the early days and the preparation for the role of Edward (or anything for that matter). lol That’s why I too am still peeved about Kristen disrupting Rob’s dialogue during Comic-con – he was getting all deep and interesting (always interesting), here’s me hanging on every word (as I’m sure so was everyone else), then bam, Kristen all up with the lack of respect. I wonder if that’s how she treats him all the time.
How I love the way Rob conveys so much with his one or two word descriptions – hearing him say “Ambrosia†again is a real treat. Then there’s the “Medieval battle†with the teens, not such a treat but very telling.

Everytime I watch the EW interview from this years Comic Con I get more & more annoyed at Kristen for interrupting Rob. Like you Vertigo, we are hanging on Rob’s every word & she just butts in & says something stupid. I always love hearing Rob talk about his roles, his answers are always so well thought out & interesting & he was going to keep talking but she totally put him off. Not happy at all, it is so so rude. Rob never treats her in that manner in interviews. I really hope this is not the way she treats him all the time. If so, he needs to keep telling her to shut up.

@Vertigo & @Michelle – i only watched it that one time – cannot go back and watch it again because I just want to throttle her. She is turning into her BFF – me thinks she is a little peeved that she is not the star vehicle anymore. Hey that’s my opinion no slanging me about that.

M & M I think it might be an Aussie thing because when I mentioned it on one of the other sites I am pretty sure if they could catch me they would string me up. I found the interview frustrating and childish and I am sick to death of the excuses being made for her. Back on topic LOVE LOVE LOVE the beanie and good to see Rob expressing himself, he is just so easy to listen to. Now I saw recently one of his mates had a black beanie on when they were out, please please please don’t tell me Rob has parted with his beanie it is a huge turn on….
LOl it was probably TomStu – they share clothes – don’t worry plus I doubt it’s the only black beanie in existence – LOL!!!!
They share clothes???? Um is there more to this bromance than we know about. I don’t care who has the beanie as long as it’s replaced for winter time/photo’s I will be one happy lady. I am even willing to buy him a new one if need be. HA HA
LOL – I take it you are a relatively new fan of Rob’s then, since the sharing of clothes has been happening for years. Shouldn’t read more into that than best mates.
