Since we last told you about the BD Companion, the cover art has been released…

We all know what we think of that pic so I’ll say no more – but seriously couldn’t they have chosen a better pic?? *shakes head*  Anyways, the companion is released in Australia, UK & US on December 13.  Thanks to Dell we can now tell you, if you pre-order from Australian bookstore Booktopia you may receive your copy before the publish date. This is what their website says:

“This title is not yet published. Please place your order today and we will pre-order a copy with the publisher so you will receive your order just after the publish date. Most titles are released before the publish date so you may receive it earlier.”

I had confirmation this morning from the Australian publishers that the Breaking Dawn Pt 1, Illustrated Movie Companion will be released in Australia on 6 December 2011.  So for those who can’t wait to own, better mark that in your diaries!

The Companion is listed on Borders.com.au as ‘Published on 6 December 2011 – typically received in 10-15 working days after publication date’ so if you pre-order from there at this stage,  it is still dispatched to you from overseas.  When the official Australian release date is known, we’ll let you all know.

I know many of us have purchased the beautiful WFE Movie Tie-In & now another tie-in is being released *claps hands*  As you can see, this cover is the beautiful pic from the second movie poster.  To pre-order from the Book Depository, all you need to do is click here.  This version will be available on 14 April 2011.  Of course I have already pre-ordered.   As if we could ever have too many copies of this wonderful book.

Some of you will remember the post we did earlier in February this year about Bluewater Productions clever idea of tracing Rob’s career through a 32 page comic book.  Well MTV has yet another exclusive look at this comic book which, by the way, will be released on 26 May 2010:

“Back in February, we told you about that “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson would receive his own comic book biography, following on the heels of such notable pop-culture celebrities as Lady GaGa, “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling, Michael Jackson, and even his “Twilight” co-star, Kristen Stewart.

Hitting shelves at the end of May, “Fame: Robert Pattinson” is the latest in Bluewater Productions’ popular line of bio-comics. The 32-page comic promises to “trace Pattinson’s career from his first performance in Tess of the D’Urbervilles at London’s Barnes Theatre to his star turn in the Twilight movies,” and features a script by Kim Sherman and interior art by Nathaniel Ooten.

Bluewater has provided Splash Page readers with an exclusive, six-page preview of the “Fame: Robert Pattinson” comic, as well as your first look at a brand new cover for the issue.”

The Eclipse Official Illustrated Movie Companion has been available for pre-order in the US & UK since early February, but since we posted this information, the cover &  release dates have been announced.  The companion will be released in Australia, the US & UK on June 29 2010. 

We here in Australia can now pre-order from Angus & Robertson, our US friends from either  Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com & our UK friends from Amazon.co.uk.  Thanks to Barnes & Noble for the pic, knew those emails would come in handy one day. 

The Eclipse Movie companion is now available for pre-order on both Amazon.com & Amazon.co.uk with a release date at this stage of May 2010.  I adore the pic of Rob as Eddie above.  Wonder when we are going to see some more movie stills & of the solo Rob variety.  Hopefully sometime soon.   If you wish to pre-order, all you need to do is click on either of the highlighted links above.  When details becomes available re: Australia pre-order & release date we will of course post.

We took the opportunity of the slow news day to update (or should I say actually start and finish) the BOOK section of the site.  Michelle & I are very happy that this is now complete.  Of course now we will maintain and make sure it’s updated!  Unless of course there is a frenzy of photos like there have been for the last 3 weeks and then – well it will be updated eventually – lol.
