I swear to God when I saw Gregoire Melin’s email to me this morning I almost danced around the room.  No wait – I think I did dance around the room.  Anyway I can confirm that Icon Film Distribution Australia is the Australian distributor of Cosmopolis in Oz.  I don’t think I could have asked for better news this morning.

Just so you know we have also established a contact within Icon so please do NOT bombard them with emails, phone calls or whatever.  We will bring you all relevant Aussie information about Cosmopolis right here.  If you want to know anything specific, just drop us an email and we will either find out or let you know whatever it is you need to know. 

Happy Cosmopolis Oz Distributor Day people!  Oh and just to remind you NO release date has been determined, but as soon as it’s known we will let you know.

I know Rob, we’re excited too!

Some of you will have seen that our wonderful affie PattinsonStateofMind has gone on an indefinite hiatus.  As sad as we are to see that, it was also a bonus for us since it gave us the opportunity to do one thing that we’ve been thinking about for a while and that is -  we asked Suze to come on over and join us here at RPAU.   See that’s why Rob’s so excited.

Please join us in welcoming Suze to Oz *giggles*.  Suze will be helping us bring you all things Rob.  I am so thankful for meeting Suze back in early 2010 (or maybe late 2009) – she is a true gem.  Suze also introduced us to Jules so – yeah goes without saying – how lucky we are to have met both of them.  And wait there’s more – Suze has offered to share her PattinsonStateofMind tumblr with all of us – yeah yeah WIN/WIN – I know right.

We are very excited to say that we are updating the look of RPAU.  NOTHING else will change, don’t worry – we’re just updating the layout.  We just wanted to let you know that if you do happen to experience any problems accessing us, don’t panic – it’s only the update taking place.  Cannot wait to see the new design go LIVE *grins*

I had confirmation this morning from FOXAustralia that the blu-ray and DVD of Water for Elephants will be released in Australia on 19 October 2011.  I’ll provide more info as soon as it comes to hand, but I thought you might want to mark it down in your diaries!

I cannot wait to own Jacob especially since Sydney agrees with him so much.

Woo hooo, big congratulations to Carmel who as we know, is one of the three winners of a double pass to see WFE at The Ritz Cinema.  So excited for you Carmel *grins*  You get to see Rob as Jacob on the big screen once again *happy dance*  If the two other winners could confirm to us that they were notified that would be great.  Congrats everyone & enjoy Jacob.  I cannot wait to see him again tomorrow!

Another amazing year for you Rob, one that has brought us so many wonderful memories, happy times & most importantly – so much success for you!  I hope you have the most wonderful & special birthday & even though you are hard at work, can have some time to yourself to enjoy your special day. Do you live in Sydney?  Are you dying to see Water for Elephants for the first time or possibly fifth in a theatre that will transport you back to that time?

I know we’ve  already seen it twice.  Yes Michelle, Vertigo, Lise-Lou & myself needed to see it again and were lucky enough to attend one of the RITZ’s special screenings on Saturday.  For those who are yet to experience Jacob Jankowski, all I will say is Rob was born to play this role.

The Ritz Cinema, Randwick has always been supportive of Rob’s movies and as most of our regular followers know, gave RPAU the opportunity to hold the first screening of Little Ashes in Australia.  Some of our followers have previously won tickets to see Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Remember Me at the Ritz.  Now they are giving 3 lucky RPAU followers the chance to win a double pass to see Water for Elephants.
