Ok so I  loathe watching these shows, but Channel 9 is screening 20 to 1 tonite Megastars with Megabucks (it apparently has something to do with under 30s earning big dollars - yeah can see Rob loving being on this show), but how could I not be distracted by his face on my television.  So yep if you can “endure” the entire show until Rob’s appearance it’s on at 9.30 pm (AEST)!

Well you certainly didn’t make the job of choosing the five winners an easy task for Maria, Vertigo & myself.  Thanks so much everyone for all your great entries & of course to Hoyts Distribution for offering these fantastic packs to RPAU.  We really appreciate it.   We have, after much discussion picked the 5 lucky winners & they are the following:

I might have been searching FOXTEL Box Office to see if Remember Me was being shown soon and lo and behold Edward was staring at me - well not really staring because he was distracted by that whiney girlfriend of his, but you know what I mean.  Anyhoo if you’ve got access to FOXTEL’s Box Office its commencing Wednesday 30 June 2010 - nice little tie in FOXTEL - now I hope we won’t have to wait until July to see Remember Me!

Rob may not be presenting awards this year at the MTV Movie Awards but he is definitely going to be presenting a new clip from Eclipse (along with 2 other people - hmm not sure who they are  hahaha) acording to the official Twilight FB page.  Anyway it’s been confirmed that he will be there, even only for a glimpse perhaps, but you better set your FOXTEL IQs/TiVos for 4 pm 7 June according to MTV Australia.  Of course we will bring you the clip as soon as we can and live feed if it’s working.  Oh fun times ahead & I can’t believe that it was a year ago!

Great news, The Ritz Cinema, Randwick in Sydney is holding a special screening of Eclipse at 12.01 am on Thursday 1st July 2010. In addition to the Eclipse screening, beforehand they will be showing Twilight at 6.45pm & New Moon at 9.15pm on Wednesday 30th June.  Three Rob movies all in a row - how awesome is that.  To see all the details all you need to do is visit here.  You’ll find all the relevant information under the ‘coming soon’ tab on The Ritz’s sidebar.  Eclipse is getting close now.  Am SO looking forward to seeing Rob as Edward on the big screen again.

I am very excited to say that Sanity now have Remember Me available for pre-order with a release date of 14 July 2010.  Such awesome news.  I just absolutely CANNOT wait to own this brilliant film on DVD so I can watch over & over.  To pre-order your copy as I have just done, all you need to do is click on the highlighted link above.  As soon as we have details on the DVD’s special features we will of course let you all know.  Cannot wait to find out what they are.

We are very excited to announce that Little Ashes will be screening at the Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre on Saturday 10th April at 6.00pm & Tuesday 13th April at 5.00pm as part of the 11th Annual Brisbane Queer Film Festival.  I am so thrilled that the film is receiving more screenings - such wonderful news.   Brisbane fans, if you have not yet seen the film or haven’t seen it on the big screen, do yourself a favour & head along to one of these sessions.  I cannot put into words how much I adore Rob as Dali & this beautiful film.  His performance is just truly brilliant.   Can never ever say that enough.   To book your tickets for either session all you need to do is visit here & scroll down to find the Little Ashes listings.  Thanks so much once again to the absolutely awesome Paul Brennan & thanks also to Georgie for the website link.  Oh how I love the scene the pic above is taken from.

I was just about to head to bed but decided to have a browse on Amazon.com before logging off for the night.  I am very very excited to say that they now have Remember Me available for pre-order with a release date of June 22 - wooo hooo, how awesome is that.  We of course already knew the DVD was being released in June thanks to Maria & now we have a date & pre-order option as well.  Just the BEST Easter present EVER.  At this stage, there is only a US release date but as soon as the Australian & UK dates are  announced we will of course let you all know.  Same  goes for details on the special features - Rob’s commentary *big smile*   To pre-order your copy like I just did, all you have to do is click on the highlighted link above.  Am definitely going to be purchasing many copies of this brilliant film that is for sure.  Bring on June 22 - just CANNOT wait.
