You might recall our post back on 9 June when we let you know that The Summer House had been selected for Rushes Soho Short Film Festival. We are just reminding those of you lucky enough to live in the UK that you have the opportunity to see Rob’s 3 or so minutes on the big screen. The film festival runs from 21 through to 31 July (anyone wanna fly me over for my birthday?) and you can find out ticket and screening information here. Enjoy.
Oh yeah - well what can I say - it’s time for a WFE montage don’t you think. Thanks to our elite affies Robert Pattinson Source, affies pattinsonlife and PopSugar for some of these pics.
Well what more could he do to make us unstuck - yep - wear the tux with sunnies. Thank God there’ s no smoke in sight - not sure how I would cope. Thanks to setje from our affie pattinsonlife.
Well I won’t - YouTube and DailyMotion have blacklisted my vid - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr - so to calm myself down I had to crop some pics purely for therapeutic reasons. Enjoy and I’m still trying to upload the vid somewhere - why why Sony do you allow others to upload that song and not me!
Don’t we all wish that … So I had an inspiration a few weeks back to do a vid of Rob’s smile. Well let’s just say that after spending a long time on Sunday creating it, I ended up rehashing the whole thing when I saw how many Rob videos there were already for that theme to Lady Gaga’s Teeth. So instead I decided to use this Adam Lambert song and can I say - I don’t think I really knew what I was in for. So 3 days later, and a completely different video , I hope you enjoy. I know Michelle and Vertigo will be glad I’m not asking them at midnight to have one more look at what I think is the final version - hahahaha. Damn you work getting in the way of my creativity *shakesfist*. Oh yeah and Vertigo thanks for the tweet last night - yeah I think this vid is longer than Rob’s appearance in The Summer House LOL. Thanks again to QuantumFizzx for her awesome pics!
For Rob’s fans in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany & Ireland you can now purchase The Summer House on iTunes. The highlighted link is for the UK, but you can just go in and change to your relevant country to purchase. Ah I see run time is 13.55. I’m hoping that iTunes here in Australia will eventually have it online for us to buy too - it bloody better! Thanks again to Campbell Mitchell for this wonderful pic of Rob.
Yeah never turn your back on your enemy - or Carlisle. This clip is now in HD and I’m only posting it because - yeah - it’s Rob. You might want to fast forward the first bit (Rob starts at 0.23), but that might mean you miss one of Emmett’s few lines in the film.
In the words of Jane “decisions decisions decisions” (although I think I might sound bitchier than Dakota - what the hell was that anyway — insipid much). Vertigo you might have been right about me messing with everyone - well you all thought I was being ridiculous with July’s choices - what do you think about August? Hahahaha *evilgrin*. Mark Kermode of The Guardian is clearly a very smart man (and I will ignore that he has called Rob R-Patz grrr). Yes, Bela Lugiosi’s Dracula is there in esteemed company with Rob’s Edward Cullen as is Gary Oldman’s Dracula and of course Max Schrek’s Nosferatu. See Mark - you are very clever to confirm that Rob’s Edward is definitely far better than LeStat (although I did like Tom’s portrayal of LeStat):
“Robert Pattinson, The Twilight Saga (2008-)
Hard to credit, perhaps, but Stephenie Meyer’s blockbusting gothic romances have made R-Patz the most successful screen vampire of all time, outselling previous title holders Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in the Anne Rice adaptation Interview With the Vampire. Hardened horror aficionados may balk, but hordes of Twi-hard fans have swooned to Edward Cullen’s otherworldly charms, marvelling at the way his skin glitters in the sunlight, and dreaming of dying (and being reborn) in his sensitively pallid arms. Chastity never seemed so attractive.”
Mark just so you know, and I’m sure you do, there are more than just Twi-hard fans who appreciated Rob’s Edward - really there is. Oh if you want to read the full article, just click on the link above.
