I felt like seeing some Tyler this morning because he always seems to put me in a better mood.  I’m sad to say that one of our elite affies RPLife is closing its blog (click on link if you want to know why) and really this first pic of Tyler kind of expresses the mood I feel at the moment.  This truly is a sad day and unfortunately its a reflection of why this world just can’t freakin get on.  Rob is not owned by any of us -we don’t love him more or less regardless of what we blog.  We just love him and really everything else should just be left at the door.  Mandy we wish you all the best and hopefully this is just a temporary hiatus!  Thanks for everything over the years.

Okay I may have just come  home from having dinner with friends and perhaps a little too much wine and so – here’s a pic I just needed to post.  Croptastic – right?

Like he was ever going to lose after wearing that Gucci suit.  According to Glamour UK:

Robert Pattinson is certainly the crush of the moment but now he can now add Britain’s Most Stylish Man to his long list of accolades.”  (Glamour “crush of the moment” really?  I thought moment meant a brief period of time – well this “crush” has been going on for much much longer than that!  Just saying …)

Oh and can I just say whilst I was over at Glamour UK I saw this heading “Ed Westwick I Get Mistaken For Robert Pattinson” – really Ed – are you trying to be a comedian now?  I’d like to know what alternate universe you are living in?  Hang on – let’s just compare ..  oh yeah I can see the resemblance NOT!  In fact Ed I’ll have to admit I never even knew you were English, but I see you’ve jumped on the “if I pimp Rob’s name I will get more notice bandwagon”.  Good luck with that – apparently it’s been working for Christina Ricci.

Well I was inspired by our Golden Years theme to provide these “up close” pics of Rob as Dali – I figured they are more “Dalicious” than “cropalicious”  - don’t you agree?  Thanks to our lovely friend Paul Brennan for giving us the original HQs  of these pics.

For those who haven’t had the opportunity to see Little Ashes, you might not want to watch this, since it is definitely a spoiler.  I have to admit that this week’s Golden Years has been the toughest so far for me to pick a favourite scene.  If I’m being honest my real choice is from the moments the introductory credits start rolling to the beginning of the end credits.   However, since Michelle and Vertigo wouldn’t let me breach copyright by putting the entire movie on the site (you know I’m capable hahaha) I had to choose the scene that, for me, is the most powerful.  THIS choice is that for me.  I know we all love Rob’s performance as Tyler, but when I see Tyler I still see Rob, when I see Dali I see Dali – if  that makes sense.  I am heartbroken whenever I watch it – and believe me I’ve seen it plenty and although I know what’s coming, the performance, the music, did I say the performance, just leaves me speechless and blubbering (ok I don’t usually admit that in public) every single time.  Rob’s performance is spectacular – to the haters out there who only see him as the “Twilight guy” and refuse to acknowledge this performance I have two words –  ”Tall Poppy Syndrome*.  Rob your performance as Toby had me hooked, but it is your performance as Dali that confirmed for me that you truly have an amazing career ahead of you.  As I have said countless times and in the words of Dali “bravo bravo superb superb” – viva la revolution!

Please Jenna Bush don’t ever be allowed to interview Rob again, it was just painful (not just for Rob), but then again, maybe we wouldn’t have seen these adorable facial expressions from Rob if she hadn’t.

I seriously heard this song at the gym on Wednesday night and as pathetic as this sounds – I just saw some of these scenes pop into my head.  It’s just a quirky little vid to celebrate Daniel – believe me not much effort has gone into it and it will undoubtedly show.  Anyway it’s Rob as Daniel – that’s all the effort that’s really needed LOL.
