What’s been happening this week in the career of Robert Pattinson?  THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER:  Continuing to update the UK Cinema screenings and the reviews.  Japan has unleashed the cinemas that will screen “Secrets of Monster” but not the date as yet.  GOBLET OF FIRE: Roadshow have provided us with a bit more info in relation to the limited re-release of the Harry Potter films on DVD in Australia. DAMSEL:  Slowly cast are being revealed.  I don’t expect there to be a huge list of castmates so I’m happy for the slow burn. I’m also happy that there is a saloon piano player because that means that guitar over Robert’s shoulder may give us a ditty! QUEEN OF THE DESERT: You can now own the film on DVD in Thailand. HIGH LIFE: Now listed on IMDbPro as a 2018 release. GOOD TIME:  Also listed on IMDbPro as a 2017 release. THE ROVER:  Filmink decided to compose a list of its favourite 100 Aussie films from the New Millennium and The Rover is no. 58. As Carmel mentioned, it’s a little higher on my list, but I’ll take the recognition. IN OTHER NEWS:  I tweeted an interesting Werner Herzog interview - I’m always intrigued about how that man thinks.  Vodafone Portugal shared a subtitled The Global Goals “We The People” video as part of Global Goals week. The  NYFF shared trailers for their upcoming films in the festival including some footage of Robert (it’s the first time the scenes have been shown officially, but we’ve seen them in that leaked footage earlier in April).  Robert’s Dior Homme campaign was featured in Amica Magazine (Italy) which is always a treat seeing DiorRob and thanks to Posh for the HQ.  Patrick Wachsberger (Co Chairman of Lionsgate) mentioned Robert and Twilight – don’t think I can say anything more than what I said in the post.  Coming up next week - the UK can see The Childhood of a Leader at Ultimate Picture Palace (Oxford), The David Lean Cinema (London), The Courtyard (Heresford) and the US can enjoy it at Cinematheque (Wisconsin).  I’m hoping we find out that the film will also screen at the Tokyo International Film Festival (that’s my hunch on why the November date is still a mystery).  Riga International Film Festival will be releasing single tickets on Tuesday so we should at least know the dates for that festival and the Ukraine will finally get to watch TCOAL.  Queen of the Desert will be released in cinemas in Russia and the Ukraine and Aussies will be able to own it on Bluray/DVD. Don’t forget that BAM will be screening Cosmopolis and Map to the Stars on Wednesday too as part of their Pattinson x Cronenberg.  Looking forward to seeing what we are spoilt with next week.  Until then …
