Where does the week go? Another quieter week this week, but maybe it’s the calm before the storm.  High Life is rumoured to start filming in May after all.  Actually the week ended with a BOOM with that gorgeous new still of Robert. But before I get to that, let’s see what has been going on. THE LOST CITY OF Z: CineArgentinas has a few entries like Mission Blacklist that make me suss about the accuracy, but then they redeem themselves with the accurate current release date for Life. So let’s see what happens shall we. Loving that Studio Canal (NZ) has the film listed in it’s 2017 releases. Also Portugal has listed the release of the film as 1 December 2016. Time will tell I guess. QUEEN OF THE DESERT:  I’ve added more Aussie cinemas to the list of who will screen the film in Oz. All States & Territories except Tassie are currently proposing to screen. Sorry Michelle.  Queen of the Desert (and Robert) are still getting some great reviews – like this one from Albania “Pattinson from his small role has issued a great character,” – haters be damned – which is why I’ve also updated the Review Roundup post. Portugal has joined the release date queue apparently, but I’ll feel more confident with that release date once it’s on NOS’s official site.  Italy has teased before that the DVD/Bluray will be released soon.  Now there is preorder link available but still no an actual release date, but I’ll keep it on a watchlist. THE TRAP: Development unknown – considering what’s been said in the past few months from Harmony Korine this really isn’t a surprise.  Still as I said in the post, whilst it remains on Robert’s “projects in development” I’ll keep it on my radar. LIFE:  David Fleischer wrote a great article about filming in Toronto and focused on Robert and Life. THE CHILDHOOD OF A LEADER: Brady Corbet is the American Guest of Honour at the Champs-Élysées Film Festival.  At the moment it only mentions that he will show his films and it may be that that will be part of Brady’s Master Class.  More information is coming so hopefully we might hear that the film is part of yet another film festival.  TriArt Films also shared the Swedish poster for their upcoming release on 13 May 2016. Not to mention we got a new still – still *twirling* I love it when I unearth new beauties. Thanks to the ever generous Posh for sharing the better quality pics with us. *mwah*  These new stills get even more excited to see this movie – I just love the way it’s been filmed – I’m still hoping that in 10 days time we find out that it will be part of Sydney Film Festival because I’ll be crushed if it’s not. #weGOforRob: Another amazing week of generosity from Rob’s fans.  Current total this morning was 11,220.  If you’re curious to know where it’s at, you can always check the details on our sidebar as I update the tally each morning (AEST).  IN OTHER NEWS: I’ve mentioned before the Safdie’s “Heaven Knows What” is an engrossing gritty film that you should definitely make an opportunity to watch. UK people have the chance with the film being released this week in cinemas.  Looking forward to seeing what gems are uncovered next week so until then …
