Studio Canal (Australia) confirmed to RPAU today that the Australian release date for Lost City of Z is currently early 2017 .

They told me that given the film is yet to be completed, it’s difficult to lock in a specific date.  There is a chance they could bring the release date forward to the end of this year though.  I’ll keep you posted as soon as a definite date is locked in.  I know it seems like a long time to wait, but somehow we always get to the end of the year and say – where did the time go.

Still no specific date locked in, but further proof that the film will be released in 2017
