We’ve heard bits of the audio of this interview, but now there’s footage and a longer interview.  And people LOOK at his reaction to that ridiculous nickname you insist on calling him.  Remember your preaching about “respect” yeah um well that’s a start right there – it’s quicker to say Rob than bleh I can’t even type it.  Oh and Rob don’t worry I’m not a Smashing Pumpkins fan either – and your response right there is how I feel about KoL … sorry the most overrated band in the last few years.

Thanks Lisa for the tip.

Rob has left no doubt here about his feelings about that stupid name. Not that anyone who uses it will take notice. I figure if I see that in any magazine then probably everything else in the article is trash too.
That question about the Smashing Pumpkins song confused me. Does anyone know what the connection to Rob is? Why did they ask about that particular song?
@Maria – I’m not a Smashing Pumpkins fan either but I have to say KoL rock my world. They are often the music playing in my head when I am sitting in the naughty corner 🙂

Really @Carmel because I’ve heard nothing original from KoL – they are the type of band that comes around every few years and in all honesty when I hear them all I hear is Jon Stevens … and I’d much rather look at him LOL.

As for leaving no doubt – there’s never been any doubt that he hates it – he says it often. I can’t believe you would believe anything in a magazine anyway Carmel – Rob always says – whatever you read is pretty much not true. Why do you think we never bother with print media unless we know for fact that Rob has provided the interview. Clue to that is – usually a new photoshoot goes with it so yeah … I don’t even bother reading anything else.

@Carmel as for the Smashing Pumpkin question – it was from a fan so who knows really what goes on in their heads. They probably read in a magazine somewhere that Rob liked it … at the moment I can’t remember why else although there’s a faint memory of something. If I remember I’ll let you know, but there’s been so much Rob this past month everything is a fog. Michelle – do you remember anything?

“Everyone knows you as RPattz” Um – what????? Ugh I LOATHE even typing that word. Seriously people, if you pay any attention to Rob, even just a tiny bit you know very well what he thinks of that ridiculous name. He’s only said it about, gee I don’t know 5 million times. I mean seriously, can you ever see Rob liking THAT name – NO! The only people that ‘know him’ as that insane name are the morons that claim respect but their actions scream the opposite. Not true Rob fans I am sorry.

As for the Smashing Pumpkins song, am with you Maria – no recollection of Rob mentioning them at all. If Rob was linked with them at all, it was probably in one of those rubbishy magazines like you say. Why do people continue to believe the crap that is written on those pages – seriously.

Oh & Rob, everyone around me was always a Smashing Pumpkins fan & I was the odd one out – so you’re not alone 🙂
