Juliette Binoche to Play Didi Fancher

According to ClapFilms, Juliette will play Didi Fancher. Well I knew she was too old to play Eric’s wife, Elise, even though there were some rumours around saying Cronenberg might change Elise’s age to be older. Still no news on who will play Elise though. We already knew that Paul was playing Levin.

I am glad they haven’t changed Elise for Juliette. She is a wonderful actress but Elise is right just the way DeLillo wrote her.

Thanks for the update Maria & Roberta. I did wonder whether Juliette would be playing Didi, she’s the first character that crossed my mind. She’ll be wonderful of course – as she always is. As I said yesterday in another post, Paul Giamatti will be perfect as Benno Levin – can so see him as this character. Love all this Cosmopolis news that’s coming in this week

Juliette will be perfect as Didi. I can totally see Paul as Benno Levin as well. It will be interesting to see who takes on the role of Elise.
